Works great and heats up quick. The square around it ensures it doesn’t touch any surfaces if you have to put it down. Cuts right through styrofoam and is mess free. The only down side is the stringy styrofoam after you cut it but I don’t believe that is the fault of the product!

Smells like something is burning bad doesn’t cut well, it just burns.

I am a Stitcher by trade and use this product to melt my cut threads on the ends of stitch lines. It cleans up my product to make it look presentable.To be completely honest, the on/off switch is what sold me. Other hot knives would need to stay on to heat up with the possibility of forgetting to strut off. Thus product you can turn on use and then shut off. Heats up very quickly.

Good for little projects. For bigger projects need a hotter one. It cuts too slow in bigger foams.

I received this hot pen and I was only able to use it a total of 4 time before it literally fell apart.

Easy to use , easy cutting styrofoam

This is great to cut foam. What I did not like--- There is no indicator that the tool is on and hot. It would be nice for the developer to place a red light to indicate on.

It worked OK but the type of foam that I was trying to cut would Just sort of melt. It would make strings out of the foam. I ended up just using a regular serrated knife to cut the phone.
