My 2009 Nissan Rogue was running rough and I thought it needed a tune up, but a mechanic friend told me to try changing the coils first. So I ordered these inexpensive coils and put them in myself. I have a lot of mechanical experience, so it was easy for me, but I think anyone can do it. On my car the only tricky part was getting the air filter housing out of the way. I disconnected one hose then turned the housing on end by rotating it with the larger hose connected. You may have to disconnect that hose as well, which is no big deal. Once the air cleaner is out of the way all thats left is to unplug the coil lead then remove two screws that hold the coil in place. Pull the old coil off of the spark plug, put the new coil in and replace the two screws and reconnect the wiring. I recommend replacing each coil and reconnecting it before moving to the next one. If you unplug all 4 coils at once theres a chance you could get the plugs mixed up, and if you started the car like that you could damage the engine. Once the coils are in and connected put the air cleaner back in place and connect the hoses and youre done. My car ran 100% better with the new coils and i didnt need any other work

Perfect fit to replace teh OEM coils in my 2015 Nissan Rogue 2.5L.
Perfect fit to replace the OEM coils in my 2015 Nissan Rogue 2.5L. Price for the 4 pack was less than buying just one locally so that was a no-brainer. I replaced these as part of preventative maintenance at 100,000 miles along with the spark plugs. I am not noticing any difference in performance, but that was expected seeing how the engine was running fine prior to replacing.
