The box pictures a red pen, which immediately caught my attention because I need red pens for the shoeboxes we pack for Operation Christmas Child. Yes, I know the description says red, black & blue. I guess I was hoping for more red pens. I ordered 2 boxes. In box #1, I received 39 red,79 blue, 120 black. In box #2, I received 40 red, 83 blue, 118 black. I wish the description was a little more specific as to how many of each color we'd be receiving.

You can’t hardly beat a BIC pen for long lasting use. I bought this variety to put in school packs for Operation Christmas Child boxes.

Now I don't have to try and buy re-fills for my obsolete pen(s) anymore. Although the ink was gone from the 1st pens use within 10 days... I still had numerous back ups in black. Blue generally isn't my preferred use but when I get to the "point" of requiring them, I will grudgingly utilize them as needed. I'd prefer if there were more Black ink pens; 1/2 as many blue & red ink pens; replaced (increased) number of black ink pens though.
