THIS IS THE ONE!
Our 8 month old 45 pound adopted pup chewed every single thing we put in her crate, not just chewed, but ATE stuff -- towels, blankets, expensive crate pads -- everything but the toys we put in there. She is only in the crate, with her best doggie buddy in another crate beside her, at night and if we go out (rarely). We despaired of finding anything that was comfortable that she wouldn't chew. Well, this appears to be the dog bed for her! She's slept in there for two nights now and the bed is in perfect condition!!! Usually her crate mats only last a couple of hours, so this is a miracle! It looks good too. The plastic frame is heavy duty PVC, and big enough around that she can't clamp down on it. The fabric is tough too and the bed fits perfectly in the cage.I will update my review as the days go by, but so far, it's WONDERFUL! Highly recommend! (I paid for this bed, not a freebie for a good review!)UPDATE - 6/25/20 - It's been almost a week now with Maggie's new dog bed. It's still in perfect condition - no rips, tears, scratches or teeth marks! I'm overjoyed!!UPDATE - 7/8/20 - This bed is still doing great! Still no marks, rips, tears or chew marks, which is amazing! Maggie chews on everything, but hasn't tried or hasn't managed to do ANYTHING to this bed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Aggressive chewer does not see this as edible
I bought this hoping for an unchewable dog bed, and so far, the pup has shown no appetite for this terrific piece of furniture. I bought the medium size (35"×23") for my 23# dog, and the dimensions are perfect...she has room enough to stretch out alone, and can still sleep pretty loosely if a cat joins her there. My model is made of PVC pipe & a heavy canvas-y vinyl cover. I like the rubber cups that fit inside the leg bottoms...this means I don't worry about the hardwoods getting scratched up. Happy with the choice of colors. The cover fits very tightly, so while washing it is an option, it means disassembling the whole thing to do that, so I have another "bed" on top of the platform that absorbs most of the soiling. It's lightweight but feels very solid. I expect it to last for years & years. Very pleased.

No problems with assembly, dog loves it
I bought this bed to use as an outdoor bed, as my dog loves to nap outside during the day. I have a 43 lb American Foxhound, and I purchased a size Large. She has absurdly long legs that spill over the sides, but for most dogs her weight I think the large size would be plenty big.I had purchased a different bed a few months ago, but it had already started to rust from the rain. I've replaced that bed with this one, and hopefully won't have any more problems with rust spots on my patio! I will update my review if I do, but since the only metal components are the screws, I imagine it will be fine. One thing to note though is that water does not drain through the fabric. So if you do leave it out in the rain, you'll have to dump the water out, as it collects in the middle. The assembly instructions were very clear, and while it does take a little bit of elbow grease, I had no problems getting it assembled. Took probably 20 minutes by myself.Very happy with it on Day 1, and will update in a few months if that changes!

With Patience It Will Go Together.
I have owned a similar one of these for 6 years and my dog loves it. The previous bed had indoor outdoor carpet which finally gave out. This new bed is everything I hoped for. The frame is extra heavy with stainless bolts and aircraft locking nuts which appear to be 1/4". The corner fittings and rails are purpose built for the dog bed rather than just run of the mill PVC sawn in half. That's the good stuff. The cordura fabric seems plenty strong and is guaranteed. Being waterproof, however, it will collect water. A minor consideration since we are in the middle of a drought right now.I wanted to give this five stars but it is an absolute bear to assemble. In order to make the bed taut the fabric is cut a bit undersize. This is apparent when you get to the last fitting. I assembled opposing corners to make the task easier. The last corner took me well over 30 minutes to coax into place. I used a phillips head screw driver to align one bolt and then inserted the second bolt after starting a few threads of the first nut. I'm sure that This company has a man that can assemble one of these in less than 10 minutes. It took me an hour. Hopefully it will be a few years before I have to repeat the assembly exercise.

Not for our Aussie
It was recommended by the trainer as her "place". Well it was a struggle to assemble because it fits tight which is good, and easy enough to clean, durability is unknown at this point. Our dog uses it as a launching pad. It has a bit of a spring to it and she runs, jumps on it and spring boards on to the couch or across the room. Had to put it up. She refuses to lie on it. She sometimes lays next to it though.

The Perfect Place!
This is perfect for our standard poodle to take his time outs. He doesn’t feel it’s punishment, he even lays on it on his own from time to time, and we have a large assortment of bones and balls right within mouth grasp when he’s on it. It’s his ‘“place” in the home. We have an IKEA 2’ X 3’ soft washable carpet on top of the hammock, makes it more comfortable for him. Assembly it straight forward, not too hard.

Our fully grown Great Dane loves this XXL bed.
We were hesitant because, if you know Great Danes, our Amos is not really accepting of new things, but the minute we put this together and got it on the floor, he got right on it and stays on it most of the time. it is durable for his 150+ pounds and he just loves it, and it keeps him off the furniture. If you are worried about size, go for it. It seems to be holding up quite well. (We used the padded mat from his crate that we got rid of and the other one is a dog bed from Costco.) Our little Yorkie mix steals it when she can. Our dogs are spoiled.
