Wow this is heavy, nice color, good quality great size but very heavy, more than I expected. I think it will last forever, it's really well made.

This is very, very sturdy and can be used for almost anything when cooking. I've used it to steam, boil, fry and everything! It stains easily meaning once you put something in there it takes on that color immediately and it stays there. I made carrots in it when I first used it and that stain is still there but hey, the Dutch is still clean so all good!

Based on some of the reviews I was a little hesitant to order this Puricon 5.5 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, but I gritted my teeth and bit the bullet. I guess I was one of the fortunate ones. I received my Dutch Oven in perfect condition and I love it! I realize that Le Creuset is the Crème de la Crème, but their cost for a Dutch Oven that I would use only occasionally is prohibitive. The Puricon Dutch Oven serves my purposes perfectly, is waaaaay more affordable, and the best news...I can lift it. It's really heavy but not so heavy that I cannot manage to cook with it and, more importantly...wash it after I've used it! I pray that I never drop the pan or the lid on my glass stove top...that would not be pretty! The directions state not to clean it in the dishwasher so fortunately, the 5.5 qt size I purchased fits just fine in my manufactured home sink (which is slightly smaller than normal sinks.) The inside of the Dutch Oven cleans up really easily, which was a surprise to me! It's a learning curve to use it on my electric stove, but I'm getting there. And for now...I can feel confident in recommending this Puricon Dutch Oven. If there are any changes to my review...I'll add an edit! So far...two thumbs up!

I bought this dutch oven for a bread recipe and my recipe turned out great! Only thing is it is on the heavier side, but, it is 5.5 quarts and goes up to 540 degrees. Love the red color; it matches my Kitchen Aid mixer.

I sent two as gifts. One I was able to see and upon receipt there was a small chip on the edge of the lid so it was returned. The pot is okay but not as finely finished as some of the more expensive ones. I am hoping the other I sent was okay. As far as the pot's usefulness, it's a nice dutch oven, as heavy as they all are, exterior color is a graduated red, and a good size for many uses. I just hope the other arrived unchipped, so if ordered, it's a good idea to check upon arrival. All in all a good pot for the price.

Beautiful pot, color not quite as saturated as the illustration but good looking, no chips or cracks upon receipt, size 5.5 qt. is good for smaller family but plenty big enough to make one meal for now and enough to freeze for another. Love it so far....and it was only $63! It ain't LeCrueset but I can get some nice multiclad stainless saucepans, a saute' pan and a couple of skillets with the savings

I received this as a gift from my husband, and have since taken up bread making. I love this pot not only because of its versatility, but because it makes a great pan for bread. It retains heat for quite some time, is dishwasher-safe (at your own risk) and makes the best sourdough.

This pot is one of the best enameled pots I have ever owned! It is heavy weight with a thick enamel coating that really seems to hold up to use and cleaning and the finish is beautiful. It heats evenly and holds the heat for a long time. I would definitely recommend it for personal use or for gifting.

Used it today for first time. It was excellent. No sticking & easy to clean. Keeps hot on stove top at low setting. Love it.

Arrivato puntuale. Qualità prezzo abbastanza buone, pesante da gestire e pulire, ma è bellissima anche sullo scaffale a vista. Provata per il pane, visto che il mio forno è debole, sembra andare proprio bene, scalda tantissimo (attenzione) e il pane è cotto a puntino - ho usato carta forno sotto -. Bisogna far attenzione che non si scheggi, e dalle recensioni precedenti che non si macchi, ma le pentole di ghisa sono così.
