Casting has changed on my last order
I've been using these Korky's on my Kohler 3386 Rialto's for 20 years. Due to the high concentration of chloride in my Florida water and the fact I'm not there for up to 6 months each year, I replace them yearly. They always worked fine until this last batch. We could not get the toilet to flush until we held the handle down for a bit. Tried to adjust to no avail. Upon comparison to the old one's I notice the rubber is thicker and the bowl slightly smaller. Both changes contribute to less air in the flapper and a lower ability to float. Thus having to hold down the handle to keep the flapper from quickly sinking back down.I purchased in March 2020. Recommend staying away from purchases after this date. Who knows when it will be fixed, if ever.My 2-star rating for installation difficulty is the poor design from Kohler. Korky has to live with this design so no problem with them.

Flapper Does Not Work With Kohler Rialdo 3386 Toilets
The Korky 2011BP flapper with rubber bar does not work with Kohler Rialto 3386 one piece toliets that requires a rigid bar (Kohler GP 84995) in spite of information to the contrary. The rigid bar prevents the flapper from moving off center. When that happens, the toilet will keep running until the flapper is moved to center position. When installing the Kohler GP 84995, the rigid bar is slid in from the side of the vertical tube, other wise it will not fit into the groves.

Use OEM
I used this a year or so ago to replace the flapper that was in the toilet (also the wrong part). For the longest time I was frustrated that my one-piece Kohler was not flushing well, I had to hold the lever down. Then it wouldn't stop running because the flapper didn't fit well. Finally I broke down and bought an original Kohler piece designed for the application. THAT works great. Spend the extra couple dollars and get the real thing.

Works for "Old" Kohler Toilet
I used to be able to find these flappers at a mom and pop hardware store under a different brand. I was never able to find this type in the big box stores. Well, like all mom and pop stores they closed. So, when my flapper began to leak I knew my options were grim if I couldn't find a replacement for my classic toilet tank. I did some research which led me to this Korky available on Amazon for a very reasonable price. It was delivered the next day. One minute to install and the leak was stopped. The flap works, flawlessly. I am so grateful Amazon stocks items that are almost impossible to find.

This will not work if you have a Kohler Rialto toilet purchased from Home Depot, they are different
This product had the right numbers relating to our Koehler Rialto toilet, but it did not fit. After a lot of phone calls it was discovered the Kohler Rialto sold by Home Depot in the late 1990’s to early 2000’s is different from one purchased directly from a Kohler dealer. The primary change is the over flow tube and flush gate design, the Home Depot Model flush gate is at an angle to the upright overflow tube and the Kohler sold model, the flush gate area is flat, 90 degrees to the upright overflow tube. With some careful trimming and a couple of zip ties I made this one work until I can find the proper replacement part.

Cheap but works great
I have been using this product 10+ years and change it almost every 1-2 years. Even though I have to change it every 1-2 years, I have no problem to spend $6. If you use this first time, you may need time to learn how to put it on right place since it's impossible to see the back of main plastic tube. You can touch the back of it to guess the shape. Or you can go to hardware store to see a new one.Nevertheless, it's not this part problem but the toilet design issue. There are several different height you can use and make sure you put this part on proper level height. Otherwise, the flapper will not cover the water drain hole completely. Then leak, of course. If you don't like this kind of flapper, look for other kind of toilet next time. I would do that too since I don't like this style of toilet but I inherited from the previous owner. Anyway, overall quality of this part is great!

Korky makes a good product and Kohler has a non-standard flush valve that requires a unique flapper. This fits the bill. It wraps around a 2 1/2"(?) rectangular overflow tube and connects on the back side to two clip points. I use the second set up from the bottom, following a youtube video instruction. THIS Flapper has to be stretched, without breaking, to make it thin enough to enter the clips. Then I centered it. The flush handle on the Kohler Rialto SanRaphael does not reach far enough to be top dead center over the flapper. So when you flush the chain tugs the flapper slightly sideways. I think that this is why the Kohler replacement uses a "stiff" bar across the back instead of the "stretchy" one that the Korky uses. I checked the video and found that this was normal. I did fit the chain and remove all of the excess links though, to prevent them from ending up between the flapper & the seal when the Korky gets pulled left & the water runs in to the right. (I have a left side flush handle) If I can get 10 years out of this one, I'll be happy.

Easy to install, and works, no fuss, very simple to replace.
Came in a few days, about the same price as other major Hardware stores (but I didn't need to go there and look for it). Just made sure by checking the toilet model #, and comparing the image with the original (damaged) one. After 10 years or so, the rubber was getting flimsy on the original and was allowing water leakage on a regular basis. It also wasn't sitting right. It was very easy to remove (used 2 pencils to help wedge it out since my hands and fingers were too short to reach) Once it was popped out, simply slide it up the black plastic post. Taking out the water thingy on the left side made putting in the new one very, very very easy. Whole job took probably less than 15 minutes from unpacking the flapper to testing it. Wish everything I fixed went this well. Thank you Amazon!

its working
Had the system for 2 years now works great, just have to change the .5 micron filter more often, we have well water and with all the rain we have had our well water is not the best, but going through the system its been great for cooking and drinking.

Almost works
I bought this to fix my low profile Koehler toilet. Trouble is that it still permits intermittent non flushes. Also $20 for a little bit of rubber moulding is a bit much. Other flappers are half the price.

Material is top quality, but 2 of 3 packages had wrong flapper type
The material seems better than the shark fin flappers made by Moen at Home Depot. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 flappers I ordered had the wrong flapper type in the packaging (not a shark fin). Customer service was very friendly and is mailing out the correct ones from Wisconsin, but they haven't arrived yet.
