After sustaining a thigh injury, it needed some support and protection from my thigh being knocked. I tried 4 different tubular/wrap around cuffs, none of which stayed in place for longer than 10 minutes! I saw pictures of this type on Amazon, but I thought they looked a bit 'serious' and heavy duty for my needs. Feeling frustrated, I decided to give this type of support a go, thinking it may just stay in place - and it does!! It is for my left thigh. Simply do the velcro belt up in the front of your waist first, then turn it half way round to the right side. Then wrap the straps around the left calf - and THERE! - it stays in place all day.(NB - put your 'undies' on after it is in place rather than before for ease of going to the loo)!I manage to wear this under my quite tight work trousers too. Material is very comfy and not too thick with good support. So pleased with this. Recommended.

I like going on long walks and after suffering for many weeks with excruciating pain down my left leg after walking what for me was only a short distance I decided to purchase this leg brace to see if it would give me some support. I was amazed, I was able to carry on walking the distances I used to walk before my leg gave out on me, no more pain absolutely wonderful. I can’t say it is the most comfortable thing to wear but you do get used to it, and it is worth it to be free of pain, what it will be like during the summer months I don’t know.

Bought as been suffering from a groin strain and slowly getting back to normal, getting some discomfort from the hip/thigh area so hoping one of these things will help. Went for this product as it was the cheapest on here with a good rating. First day and it's definitely keeping the area warm, however the seam where the two parts are sown together is far from comfortable. So far that's the only drawback but it's a fair drawback given the area is tender already... Hoping in time it will soften up and I can edit my review.

This hip brace has reduced the pain and immobility in my hip/leg. It is extremely comfortable to wear unlike another brace that I purchased. Recommended.

This product is not suitable for women. The "back" strap is far too low and sits on the lower hips rather than around the waist. Women's hips are not straight like men's, so this becomes extremely uncomfortable to wear. Plus it has a very strong acetate odour that's quite unpleasant.Have initiated a return.

Ended up wearing it almost back to front. Fits but everyone is a different shape and may take several attempts to find the most comfortable fixing.

It is well made and the fit is alright (with modification to the wast belt ) which is very large , but it didn't prove to be of much help with my hip pain.

Purchased this for a friend awaiting a hip operation, they say it gives good support to a weak hip, but does make joint area hot
