I love the book; it gives you an understandable way to live by the Beattitudes given in the Bible and much happiness can be applied to you life in each of the ‘be happy attitudes’. Very helpful.

I have been reading this book over and over again for over a decade. It has been my go to book for periods of depression and other dark periods of my life. It uplifts my soul and helps me to better understand my role in the condition of my life. This book has helped build my character. I passed it on to my 23 year old daughter when she was 20, and she says she can't live without it. I also gave a copy of it to a dear friend who was in deep depression and I have seen the change in her. Robert Schuller, THANK YOU!!!

I've had this book for years and lost it a few times, so I repurchased it again. It can help give you insight to yourself if wanting to make an inner change. It helped me when I was young and negative most off the time. It helped me change my way of thinking, and occasionally I refer back to certain excerpts I highlighted in the book. I like it.

i love this book. first read it around the time it first came out, and it has stayed with me since. just bought it on kindle for mobility. his paraphrases of the individual beatitudes are genius. great stories to illustrate + all dr schuller's years in ministry combine to bring great insight and wisdom to this key teaching from the sermon on the mount.

This is such an up lifting book. So positive & carries the sermon on the mount to realms I had never thought of.The title is so appropriate & a book u can refer back to over & over. And u will never forget the impact of its meaning.

The author means business.I totally agree with him that if anyone doesnot live with good morals, then he is bound to become sad ,unhappy and unsatisfied.So bottom line is what every religious books suggest-live a righteous life to lead a happy healthy life spiritually and emotionally.That is the theme of this gem book.And yes the author has given solution too in this gem book.
