WORKS GREAT IF YOU USE IT CORRECTLY AND REPEAT SEVERAL TIMES.
i cant believe the negative reviews. This is easier than the eye test. The hardest part is signing in which is too long in my opinion. 1/ put the frames on and make sure they fit tight and are level across your nose and eyebrows. 2/ Get your nose dead center and your face and head straight and not to the right or left but straight onto your phone screen inside the circle. 3/ take your time and look straight ahead so your eyes arent wandering or crooked and focus both eyes to the center of your phone screen/ straight ahead. Line up all the T's and pluses on both eyees and the frame. 4/ sometimes the plus's and T's are hard to move so tap and hold then move and when you let off your finger make sure it is still on and you can adjust everyone if you make a mistake. Save your tests. I did 7 tests and mine was 68mm and 34 Left and 34 right which means my eyes were dead center on that test. Other tests were all 68 but some were 33.50 Left and 34.50 right .etc. The near PD reading glasses were all 65.50. Measuring my original glasses i got around 69mm but the lenses are curved and i took about half of each lens from center and the bridge distance in between the lenses. Like I said .very easy to use but too many agreement and advertising screens to get to the test which is the only con. Great and well worth the money and piece of mind! You dont want to get headaches if your prescription is spot on and your looking through a curved part of your lens getting a headache due to a wrong PD. The Near PD is for reading glasses and was 65.50 less or a difference of 2.50mm. My reading glasses are +2.50 magnification.I remeasured my lenses on my old glasses from the edge of the lens to the other side under the ear arm hinges and got 122mm divided by half= 61mm. Then measured the bridge in between the lenses and it was 14mm . I divided that by half which is 7mm. 61mm + 7mm= 68mm spot on!

Great for online perceriptions
I had 2 different glasses store give me a perscription. I thought I could use it on ZENNI to get some cheap ($7) glasses online. I was missing my PD. there are ways to do it with a ruler but I knew I would screw that up. These made it so easy and error free thanks to the app.

Good double check
I wanted to double check my PD as I received two different measurements in a year. One of the optometrist offices said that I had two different PD and the other one said that it varies based on the glasses you buy. I thought it was strange as precious doctors have written it down on my prescription. Just to be sure, I bought the Eyeqie to see which one was right. It is fairly straight forward where you line up 3 markers and it calculates your PD. It may take a little time if you have fat fingers like me and you are dragging your finger over to the T.

Ingenious solution to a problem
Every once in a while I buy something that makes me think "Wow, what a great idea". This is one of them. I owned and used a PD measuring ruler for a year or so. I found that I could not get it very accurate. I had also tried downloading an app to do this but it was not very accurate. I was looking at alternatives and I saw the EyeQue product. I figured why not, the price is good and I will return if it is not good.I have used this product on myself, my son, and my daughter. What I do is 3 measurements and I average them. Generally they are pretty close. I mean does 1 millimeter even make that much of a difference? I agree with another reviewer which is even the optometrists will get slightly different measurements. So I ordered a pair of glasses for my son after measuring with the EyeQue tool. I am pretty confident it will work. Two suggestions in case the developers read this review. I would set the automatic flash off by default because it was making me close my eye. Other than that, great product.

It actually works!
Now I was a bit skeptical about this item. No lie. I saw the mixed reviews online but I decided to get it anyways. I already knew my PD so I was about to put this device to the test. Believe me! They got it right on the first try. I'm very pleased with this product. I'm about to use this on my entire family. Lol.NB: Make sure you have proper lighting when you're taking your photo.

Works to obtain PD.
The EyeQue PDCheck is a plastic eyeglass frame with no lenses. It has marks on the front of the frame to use with the downloaded app. I have no complaints but I have to stress that it would be much easier to use if you had a partner to take the photos with the phone. It is just awkward and difficult to use by yourself (that was, however, how I used it). you take a bad photo with your phone's camera, the app will alert you that it isn't acceptable. I took multiple pictures until I was confident of the result. The app gives PD and Near PD. I used it to order prescription eyeglasses online and when the glasses came they fit perfectly! I definitely recommend the product.
