I had to buy this because I fall all of the time and I often hurt myself. My son has the receiver in his room and he says just knowing I have it on me gives him peace of mind.I am 47 yes old but due to my conditions, I am very shakey and unsteady and I just fall over. Having this makes me feel safer and it calls upon my son rather than bothering the ambulance service ( which my old alarm did) it is small and simple to set up. I carry it in my little bag but it comes with a lanyard if you want to use that.

I would have given 5 stars had the plug in part of the system not been so large. It takes up two slots of my extension bar, so had to buy one with more slots to accommodate it. It comes quite simply packaged, which is great as that means more investment in the product. As for the unit and button, they are very easy to use, basically just plug and go, although I would advise reducing the ring tone on the base unit for the carer as it is set to very loud. Love the fact that you can change the ring tone too. There are quite a few to choose from, so if you get overly familiar with one, you can change it to another to keep you alert. Brilliant product!!!!

This has been a life saver..so easy to use and easy to install. The alarm button is in my Mum’s room the receiver is in my room so I can go to bed knowing if I’m needed my Mother can just press the red button. You can pick various tunes and use different level of sound depending on your hearing ability.. I can’t comment on the motion detection as I simply use it as a night call but come the better weather this is something I will use... When I was looking some prices were really expensive but this was really reasonable and honestly has been exactly what’s needed if you need to care for someone and still be able to do your day to day aspects of life.. this definitely gives you the ability to feel confident to do just that... Definitely recommend as a great purchase...

We use these as an emergency intercom from the bathroom. Works well.

As a disabled person it’s extremely helpful to call my wife doe help and specially in amgency situations, it’s a must have gadget when you need help to call someone from a different room 🙂

This is the best thing I've purchased as far as reliable practicality is concerned. I'm not deaf but I have acute hearing loss and use hearing aides, which help. but not when my wife is in another part of the house and trying to get my attention. Her recent hip replacement surgery meant I had to find a way for her to contact me, anytime, anywhere in the house. I found these CallToU devises on Amazon and bought the three-unit "speakers" and two call buttons set. Super-easy for a technologically-challenged senior citizen to just plug them in and instantly program the buttons. Cyling through the 55 differnt chimes (!) was a bit tedious and I never got past the first four or five - using a differnt chime for each speaker in each of three rooms simply because I could. I put one in my bathroom, one in the kitchen and one in my home office. Realizing I needed another, I purchased another single speaker and button for the living room (didn't need the extra call button but it came with the speaker). They all programmed effortlessly with each other. Just plug them into any wall socket. When my wife presses one of her two call buttons (one is always on her temporary walker) all four speakers chime at once, all over the house. Hard not to hear (!), as I have these set on the highest volume!. All I have to know is where she is ( I know she's somewhere in the house) and I can instantly come to her aid. We're going to keep on using these even after her hip heals. It sure beats her shouting my name whenever she needs me to help her with something.

Very good product. Had adjustable volume and you can select a ring tone of choice.

Very simple to use. For me, all I needed was for it to ring a bell in the caretaker's room and he is alerted. So, I press the little red button and the caretaker shows up at my disabled husband's room. Very simple to set up and use.
