Is lens smooth so can use suction cup to install?

It's smooth enough to use a suction cup. Today I replaced four halogens with these bulbs, using (for the first time in my life) one of those black suction cups sold for the purpose, and was able to remove the four halogens and insert the four LEDs, getting each bulb out or in within 15 - 60 seconds.

Does bulb work with standard dimmer switch or does it need electronic dimmer?

It will flicker with a non-LED dimmers. Works great with a LED capable dimmer upgrade.

Can bulb be used with motion on switch

They work with remotes and yes I am pretty sure that it will work on motion sensors . the motion sensor is no different than an off on switch.
