The magnets came sooner than I expected. I used them the day they arrived to quilt a pillow top. They held my quilt sandwich onto the magnet frame very well so there was no slipping. I use the different sizes on certain areas of the hoop; dots in each corner work very well and the rectangles along the sides. These are much easier to manipulate than the top that comes with the hoop.

I ordered these to replace all of the tiny pieces of painters tape I was using. They not only work as well as the tape they work better. I’m still getting the hang of the best way to manipulate the magnets (they’re Strong) but like anything else the more I use them the easier it gets and really even at that it’s no slower than using tape.Buy them!

So far used them on a pair of pants I am altering.

I love these magnets. ALOT. I bought all three sizes and they are amazing for English paper piecing. Can’t wait to use the them for wool appliqué. People have commented about the stickiness of the glue holding them to the package. Honestly too much has been made of this. Yes, they’re stuck down pretty good on the packaging but with a little effort pulling them off and some goo gone on the magnets, it’s not that big a deal and worth the effort. And the company actually apologizes for this in the packaging. As for the complaints about pulling them apart, I just slide them apart rather than pulling them apart and have had no problem. No pins necessary and hold they everything tightly. Highly recommend them!

The magnets work well for EPP. The different shapes are convenient as they work on different shaped pieces. They are pricey.

I have a couple of machines and have found that the bottom magnet sticks to machine metal sewing plate every time and then the design does not stitch correctly or worse yet hoop gets stuck and you get a birds nest under design that is quite hard to cut off and remove the hoop to start over. I bought several of these am using as refrigerator magnets now . Pricey mistake. This item needs redesign to function properly.

Great for use with my embroidery. Keeps fabric and stabilizer taut bur doesn’t get in the way while sewing.

Wow. Got this based on recommendations on a few blogs for English Paper Piecing. Amazingly strong magnets. This is a great selection of sizes... Don't know why anyone would need that many magnets at the same time, but they make nice little gifts for crafty friends.

Expensive but will be great to have for English paper piecing. Very strong hold.
