Thill Premium Weighted Floats - 7/8 in Oval - Spring

While these are a little expensive for a bobber, they are really nice. They clip on the line easily and float well. I find the orange paint easy to see, and because they are weighted they cast well without adding split shot and they tend to stay right side up better than non weighted bobbers. The only downside is that you actually care when one gets stuck in a tree. Maybe save these for yourself, and let the kids use the red and white plastic ones :)

Few things in a lifetime of fishing have brought me more joy than these floats. Simple, clean, beautiful and they work. Better yet, they bring back memories of 60 years ago. Well designed and made.

Have not used the floats yet so not sure about how responsive they are in the water. They would seem to be a high quality construction, good sturdy, bright paint on top that should hold up well to at least a couple of fishing trips, and the price point makes it good disposable float, if one happens to fall of the line I will not be diving into the water to retrieve it, but would rather order a new one from amazon.

An old favorite that I've rediscovered thanks to grandkids. Granted, these are nowhere near as "kid friendly" as the cheap Styrofoam bobbers, but I am trying to teach that having good gear makes the game better. These float perfectly as they are already balanced, and I love the look on the face of the kids as the bobber dances.

They work well, but come flying off too often. Too much spring and they won't slide, too little and it's gone on the cast.

Must haves in my tackle box.
