It works!
upon initially receiving the fuel pressure sensor I was a bit skeptical, as the part numbers did not match up, as the old sensor read "110" at the end of the part number, while then new specified "238". But what can I say, outside of it not having the little hole to hold the cable clamp, the pressure sensor worked like a charm on my 2005 Volvo XC90 2.5T. No more loss of power, along with no more numb feeling in the accelerator when cruising at speed. It works!! Plus considering Volvo was going to charge $230 for the part alone, along with $150 for labor, I could not be more pleased in the financial prudence of having purchased and installing it myself. Installation was easy, even for those that are less than mechanically inclined, simply depressurize the fuel system, place some rags under the old sensor, (which will be located on your fuel rail), to catch the remaining fuel that will inevitably flush out. take out the one star bolt that holds the sensor in there, pull gently to take it out, subsequently place new sensor in, place and tighten bolt, plug in the harness, and presto, it's done.

Perfect fit (Genuine Bosch part)
Perfect fit (Genuine Bosch part!) and works great! My car was giving me some errors codes (fuel pressure too high, sensor reading problems) and sometimes stumbling at various loads and, once, even stalling altogether. This seems to have fixed that completely and brought my Volvo S80 back to life - the boost comes on smoothly and stays strong without any variance (unlike before, when I could always feel a little variation under a steady load).Only have been running this for a couple days, but $60 w/ next day shipping (Prime) was a life saver!

Great deal on original Bosch part!!
Used this to replace fuel rail sensor in 2005 Volvo V70 2.5T that was having increasing hesitation and had triggered the fuel rail pressure high at some time in past. Seems to have resolved the problem. This is an original Bosch part but different part number than my failing sensor (which was #0261230110). It seems the only difference is that this replacement lacks the additional hole to secure the cable tie. This is a very easy replacement in less than 10 minutes provided you have the right size torx bit to remove the sensor.

Fuel Pressure Rail sensor replacement
Perfect fit. This part is slightly different molding/housing. Looks like the manufacturer in their quest for continuous product improvement reduce the amount of plastic used in this component, however, did not change fit-form-function configuration. Used a little lubricant for the O ring and it fit perfectly and operated perfectly. Caution: Please make sure you release ALL of pressure from the rail BEFORE you do anything else; easy to do and it was save you a lot of headache down the line. Google fuel pressure rail and YouTube will guide you if necessary.

Works great for 2006 Volvo XC90
This sensor worked fine as a replacement for my 2006 Volvo XC90. My only complaint is that the sensors housing does not have a hole for cable management, like the original part does. I ended up zip tying the cable to another near by one, worked just fine.

A Simple DIY Project that can save you quite a bit!
I went to my local Volvo dealer and I was told my Fuel Regulator Sensor was bad. They quoted me almost $400 to replace it. But, I was able to complete the job for 1/4th the price by buying this part right here on Amazon!I want to let you know, that this is actually the same OEM Bosch part that is used in my Volvo. It is quite easy to replace. Here is what I did:You need to depressurize the fuel system. I took the fuse out for the fuel pump and tried to start my car up a few times. After 3 starts, I think that was enough to depressurize the system.Reaching the fuel pressure regulator was hard primarily that the area around it was very crampt. I could not reach it with my regular ratchet, so I had to buy a mini-size ratchet (search for Neiko here on Amazon). The screw holding it in place was a T25.When you take the old sensor off, be ready with a few rags primarily because there might be a small amount of fuel that will spill out.Simply fit the new part in and screw it in. Put the fuse back in and you should be ready to go.This was an easy DIY project that clearly saved me over $300. I'm sure any novice can do this job too.

Appears to work. So far so good.
Got rid of my P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure error code on my 2005 Volvo Xc90 T2.5 but then got a P0101 error for a MAF sensor. Replaced that with a Chinese one off eBay and now get a P2178 System Rich of Idle Bank 1 error every once in a while but at least the car runs and doesn't stall out dead in it's tracks like it used to. I reset to computer each time and it hasn't returned lately... hope it doesn't!

Good and cheap!
While not the exact unit on my 2005 V70 2.5T, it fit fine and did the job at a fraction of the cost getting it done at the dealer. The only difference that I could tell was there was no hole to mount the zip tie that held the cable. It was a 5 minute installation. One screw and you're done. The only problem I ran into was that when I used the valve to depressurize the fuel rail it didn't completely relieve all the pressure, so when I pulled the sensor off the end of the rail a couple tablespoons of gas shot out. Other than that, no problems.
