Product description You might question why we choose to install cable railing? Simple is more๏ผthe cable railing is not only easy to installใlooks great but also never blocks your view when you rest on the deck; Cable railing hardware It can be easily used for horizontal railing and stair railing, almost can be used to all kinds of complex cable railing system with wood posts. 180ยฐ adjustable angle cable railing fitting Parts of fitting 1. Adjustable angle base๏ผbe installed on square posts; 2. T-shape ball head๏ผ it can be swung through 180 degrees๏ผ 3. Turnbuckle๏ผused for adjusting the tightness of cable๏ผ 4. Connecting tube๏ผused for connecting cable by hydraulic crimper๏ผ 5. Anchor nuts๏ผ locking turnbuckle tube. Cut and check cable length Quick check cable length Several points need to notice by this method 1.tighten up the turnbuckle; 2.make sure the cable is straight when you check the length; 3.It is easier to finish this by two people. We think cutting a right length cable is most important step for your cable railing project. Installation Notes Drilling screw holes before installation Why did we choose softer SS304 screws instead of the harder SS201 or 410 screws๏ผ Because SS304 material has stronger anti-rust ability than SS201 or SS410, the soft issue can be solved by drilling screw holes before installation (this item include a right drill bit), but the anti-rust problem is more difficult to solve. Choosing standard 1/8'' T316 SS Cable structure 7*7 of cable is appropriate hard๏ผ and applicable to cable railing๏ผ We strongly recommend that you choose 316 marine grade stainless steel cable when your railing is installed outdoor or by the sea๏ผ Please choose a quality cable cutter to ensure that the cable head wonโt be loose after you cut it, If the cable head loosed, it will be difficult to insert the cable into the fitting's tube. Choosing hydraulic crimper which with 4# dies Usually 1/8" fitting only requires 3 times press when it is fixed between the both dies of the hydraulic crimper, the more pressing wonโt make the connection stronger but will damage the tool and fittings. Review: So Easy to Use!! - Seven years ago, we had a deck built and we installed our own cable "railings." At the time, there weren't very many products out there available to the average consumer who wanted to DIY their own cables. The system we used had bolts that were secured by nuts on the other side of the 4x4 posts. It was not a good look as the bolts were all different lengths. Yesterday, we cut the cables and installed these instead. Not only are the cables MUCH tighter, but they look so much more professional! Make sure you have enough cable inserted into the sleeve and that you crimp in at least 3 places before tightening. Also, as one other reviewer pointed out, the turnbuckle needs to be almost all the way open to get the tightest possible cable. Review: Great product - Great products and easy to use

Nice product
I built a cable railing for a deck. This cable run was ~45' with double posts on 3 corners and 10 strands of cable. This product was great for this purpose. It was easy to anchor and easy to install. It tightened the cable strands sufficiently by putting a manual pull with channel locks on each longer (~16') run. I might have given it a five star sweep had the anchoring screws been longer to boost my confidence. I really like the more discreet look of this system. I have built other, cable deck railings using larger turnbuckles. They left exposed cable ends that I view as unsightly and potentially a problem for toddlers. I wish there was an install video or at least instructions for this product although it is intuitive when installing.

A good lower cost option.
I did some stairs in a garage that led to a game room overhead and used these for cable railing. I have used much more expensive ones with steel posts and prettier connections but these worked great in this situation.

Very durable and stays looking new
Easy to use and they look great. I've installed these 3 years ago on my deck and they still look brand new, even after 3 Quebec winters.

As expected.
Was as expected! Tightened cables to piano tight! Manually crimped which was a workout! Hydraulic crimper would have helped for sure. Havenโt tried any WWF moves against the ropes yet but just finished today!
