TWSBI Diamond 580 Fountain Pen nib B

I have a moderately large collection of fountain pens. My collection includes some upper end pens. The 580 is a fantastic value for your money. The broad nib writes very smoothly, the piston glides up and down easily, the pen holds a tremendous amount of ink. I was on the fence about buying it, I do not love demonstrators, however, it is kind of cool seeing the ink slosh around, and it’s very easy to glance at it to check on the ink level. Thank you TWISBI for making a great pen and offering it for a reasonable price.

This pen is my favorite over multiples that I have. As a lefty, I am able to write smoothly and find that the pen flows across the paper. It fits swollen your hand your first fountain pen user, this is an excellent one to use.

Love this pen! You can not go wrong at $55 for it. The TWSBI is the only pen I own that is in any way comparable to the most expensive pen in my collection. I have the 1.1mm stub and the broad nib and am really happy with both. The stub is fantastic for notes and cards I want to be impactful.

This is a decent fountain pen. It doesn't hold much ink, so you will need to have ink handy for long writing sessions. It writes smoothly if well inked. And it skips badly when it runs dry. Its a good pen for beginners.

My new favorite fountain pen I own! The writing is so smooth, I can hardly believe it! I got the TWSBI ink bottle too, so refilling ink is totally no mess, no fuss, no ink stained hands. I absolutely love this fountain pen! Easy to use, perfectly balanced and comfortable to hold, and the pen body is beautiful and sturdy!

Nib is smooth, lays tons of ink, line width write more like my Pelikan medium, piston is smooth , overall good solid pen for the price. The plastic material feels "brittle" compared to my TWSBI vac 700-fine which is a hassle to use bec you had to untwist the nob and so i was looking for fountain pen that is dependable, easy to use and affordable. This pen is easy to clean I've cleaned and filled this pen with different color and did not appear to stain or collect ink from previous fills unlike other demonstrator pen i've used. Other than the feel of the plastic material I really like this pen and is my everyday carry pen.

Même s'il est en plastique transparent, il est assez compact et ne fait pas " toc ", par contre quel ressenti avec cette plume elle glisse presque toute seule, j'hésite même à acheter les autres modèles. Je suis curieux de savoir si avec une plume plus fine, si cette dernière glisse autant

Ich bin sehr begeistert. Superleicht zu befüllen und schreibt extrem geschmeidig. Die Feder ist wunderschön und es super toll das er durchsichtig ist, denn so kann man immer den füllstand sehen aber nicht nur das er wirkt dadruch auch sehr mechanisch finde ich. Er liegt gut in der Hand und ist ohne Kappe auch nicht zu schwer. Die kappe ist sehr schwer, aber ich persönlich lege sie so oder so daneben. Er lässt sich aufdrehen, was ich ebenfall sehr edel und angenehm finde, so vermeidet man laute Geräusche und spriter. Er läuft nicht aus und das auffüllen ist auch super einfach. Nur wenn man die Farbe wechseln will ist es natürlich etwas komplizierter aber wie oft wechselt man die Farbe? Also ich persönlich nicht. Es ist aber auch machbar. Ich würde diese Firma immer wieder kaufen. Gut ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich ein Video vohrer gesehen habe von einem anderen der ebenfalls gut bewertet wurde vom Videoerzeuger. Er hatte ebenfalls viele Füller ausgetestet. Alles in allem war die Lieferung auch sehr schnell und er kam in einem extra Karton aus Pappe der wiederum in einem Plastikbehälter war, der absolut wie für den Füller gemacht war. Er war auf beiden Seiten festgesteckt sodass er nicht verrutschen konnte. Eine Anleitung war mit dabei und das Gehäuse war durchsichtig. Auch in dem Pappkarton war er nochmals mit Schaumstoff ausgelegt, damit das Gehäuse nicht rutscht. Der das komplette Paket war dann sicher in einen kleinen Karton eingepackt. Ich bin so begeistert, es tut mir Leid das nicht nichts negatives sagen kann außer den Preis aber ich denke man schont die Umwelt und das Material ist sehr gut, sodass der Preis gerechtfertigt ist. Zumal von Pelikan dieser genausoviel kostet und der war nicht durchsichtig weswegen ich mich für diesen entschied. Das einzige was ich nicht so gut fand, das man die Anleitung überwiegend über die Bilder verstehen musste aber das war kein Problem, trotzdem hätte ich mir deutschen Text gewünscht.
