OLED speaker isn't as great as I thought it would be
The OLED speaker was the selling point for me, but it wasn't as great as it sounded. It could've been great for sure, but the sound wasn't balanced at all. When on max volume, you can only really hear the Boombox speaker at the bottom, and the OLED speaker's sound distorts with certain tunes. At first, I thought that the phone isn't stereo, but then I put it to the test and it really does play 2 separate audio channels -- one through the Boombox speaker and the other through the OLED speaker. Can barely hear the channel playing through the OLED speaker, and the Boombox speaker isn't quite as loud as I thought it would be. Audio sounds normal when I put the phone on Mono mode, but that doesn't sound nearly as good as stereo would, so that defeated the selling point of the dual speaker setup for me. Other than the audio, the phone is awesome. Bought it renewed, but was like brand new. Clean and barely any scratches, dents or dust inside. The battery life is solid, given that I was running the phone at max resolution (1440p) all the time. Didn't get through an entire day, but charging was convenient with my wireless charger, albeit not as fast as a wall charger. The screen is amazing too. Was impressed with the "True View" feature where the screen would auto adjust according to my surroundings. Colours looked very natural and didn't need to enable a blue light reducing feature. There's a visible difference between 1440p and 1080p as well. Noticed it immediately when comparing with the LG G8X. Camera is decent, but not that great when it comes to zooming. This model lacks the 3rd rear camera, which is probably why the zoom quality is lacking, but apart from that, the photos are quite good. Can't compare to the likes of a Huawei P30 Pro though.

It's a ATT phone unlocked and is a great value
This has been one of my favorite phones to have ordered for the price alone it's amazing. Everything came out brand new like in the box. One of the best looking and sounding phones I've had in a long time. It does everything my Note 8 did plus more (besides a pen). The phone is also still supported by LG and getting the 11 update as with my Note 8, it was dumped pretty much a year ago and is one major issue I have with Samsung is their slow to update and terrible support. This phone is very underrated as this phone didn't do much over the other companies on release so it didn't stand out. My favorite features of this phone are the earpiece being a vibration glass that sends sounds (getting rid of the chance of possibly getting crud in the ear piece) and having such an amazing DAC built in. I have never wanted to listen to music on my phone and this device has really brought that back. I really would recommend this one to anyone looking for a high end feature riched phone for a good price!

A great option in front to mid gamma phone 2021
It arrived on schedule, seller with good communication, the equipment generally in good condition, some minor details on the case and on the screen, a slight scratch, the rest very good performance, good image and battery, recommended at that price

Great phone!
It's quite surprising to find phones like this G8 ThinQ for such a low price. It's great. Sure, the software is it's own thing, and the speakers aren't that great, but performance wise, this is certainly a 2019 flagship. Camera is great too, and I don't mind not having a telephoto lens because I get the widest and best ultrawide I've used. The manual camera controls are really nice and the microphone quality is fantastic for recording. The hand gestures come off as something a bit superficial, but the sensor that enables it is great for face recognition. Biometric authentication options are great to have and the piezoelectric speaker on the front is awesome for calls. I'm quite satisfied with the phone.

Pretty good quality refurbishment
I love the phone it works great and came in great condition, the only problem was the back was cracked, although I couldn't care less about that I put a case over it anyways! And the only other issue is it's a Sprint phone and it's got a little bit of software I can't remove but over all battery is great, screen is great I'd say it's pretty solid!

Fully functional but not as advertised
This item was listed as Excellent quality, meaning no scratches on the screen. But the screen was fairly severely cracked in the lower left corner, and there was significant dirt in the headphone port. Fortunately, there is only one crack that goes across the screen which is barely noticeable, and the phone is fully functional. Given the state of the screen, this should have been cheaper and appropriately advertised. Other than that, it was a good purchase and arrived quickly.

Awesome value
Why buy this phone? Price is right QDAC headphone jack = audiophile music experience All the flagship phone features you come to expect. Face unlock, hand unlock, fingerprint, wireless charging, camera quality, etc. It is the best phone in its price range. My xiaomi mi 9t pro black screen, used it two weeks and it is a piece of junk already, $350 down the drain, cannot return. This phone I got used like new for cheaper and it is better. I gambled because I wanted a phone with all screen and that was a mistake. This is the 2nd g8 I bought. My wife had one but she broke it, she left it on top of her car and we found it in the middle of the road getting run over by a garbage truck (only rugged phones can survive that). My wife broke my mate 10 pro, her v35, and her s9+ last year. When she breaks her one plus 6t, I will most likely get a third g8.

Extremely happy!!
So happy to have found this phone when I was in a bind. The seller is amazing and, helped me out with questions prior to my purchase. Phone is in perfect condition - not a scratch on it and, it doesn't look like it's ever been used! Clean IMEI! Updated to Android 10 during initial startup. So satisfied with this purchase!

Impressed
Absolutely immaculate conditions. I was expecting some scuffs or dents but there is not a single mark on this thing. If it weren't for the off sized protectors I'd have believed this was a brand new phone with a broken seal. Phone is unlocked and working fine out of the box.

Phone died after only 5 months
If I could give this phone no stars I would. Phone died and is now a paper weight just five months into using it. I will never buy a refurbished electronic item off Amazon again. Retailer and Amazon were no help whatsoever over this matter. Extremely dissatisfied over the after service \support I received especially after all I have purchased from Amazon.
