My hubby just a batch up right before he is ready to spray our plants. This little bottle takes up almost no space in our garage.

Although I have only a couple years experience with this product, it seems effective in keeping deer out of the corn patch. If it were not so expensive, it would get a higher rating. It does not have as offensive an odor as some other varmint-repellents, and is relatively easy to use. You only have to spray it on the tape with which you surround your garden, rather than spraying each and every plant which you are trying to protect.

Does not work. I have two corn plots, on the first one I sprayed it on and in short order the deer destroyed my corn. On my second plot I immersed the tape in the solution and let it soak for 15 minutes to fully saturate it. After I put the tape up I sprayed it until it was completely saturated and then I sprayed the corn plants on the perimeter. In short order, less than a week, the deer crossed it and ate my corn.

This is the second time that I have purchased Messina Wildlife products. I have three soybeans plots surrounding with this ribbon and I soaked the ribbon with the Plot saver for between 4 hours, and one for about 30 minutes before I put up the ribbon. Only one soybean plot had any deer inside of them. I believe the reason was that, I left the corn feeder up and running near the soybean plot. After I turned off the feeder, and re-applied the Plot saver a second time. The deer have not been back. I did re-apply after 3 weeks, instead of a month. My soybeans may it two feet high within 7 weeks, so I was able to take down the ribbon. I plan on using this product for years to come.

I have been using Messina Wildlife Plotsaver for several years, and am very pleased with the results. I find using a small 2 to 3 inch paint brush and painting it on the band in the quickest, easiest and least wasteful way to apply it. You don't have to deal with a clogged spray gun this way. Mix only what you need each time you use it. I have a large deer population in my neighborhood, They eat anything I don't protect with the Plotsaver. I have a medium size garden, and deer never get in it, because of the Plotsaver. Ron

I love this product! It works wonderfully to keep deer out of my plants, especially my tomatoes and daylilies! I forgot to re-apply as directed and woke up yesterday with a lots of munched and torn tomatoes plants. I have the woven PlotSaver plastic ribbon to section off the areas I wanted to protect and have added more for more protection. I can't say enough good things about this product. One warning though: wear surgical type gloves when you use this product. The smell isn't too bad, but can stay on your hands longer than I would like. I definitely recommend this product!!![...]
