Italian Frequency Dictionary - Essential Vocabulary: 2500 Most Common Italian Words: 1 (Italian-English) Paperback – Import, 21 December 2017

This "Frequency Dictionary" has an extremely offensive racial slur. I cannot believe an educational tool would include this in their VOCABULARY. And worse, teach people how to translate it! I have told my Italian instructor not recommend or use this book anymore. Don't support this ignorance.

I have studied languages before and accumulated quite a pile of foreign dictionaries. This is the first one I've bought that is arranged by words' frequency of use. I found it quite helpful. There are excellent examples of the words used in sentences, and they're not elementary level sentences. They are things you might read in a newspaper or magazine. I recommend this book to someone trying to learn Italian.

Subject line covers it. Really poor quality. On casual perusal I encountered MANY typos, dubious translations, and irrelevant examples sentences. I can't recommend this series for serious students of Italian.

I found this book for the most part very helpful. I wonder why the example sentences need to be so complex. I would have appreciated simpler, more practical examples of words as used in sentences. I would also like more than one example sentence where a word can serve as two different parts of speech depending on the usage. (Buono can be both an adjective and a noun. Potere can be both a noun and a verb, etc.)

Not a helpful purchase for me in my quest to learn Italian. This is a frequency dictionary, which I should have noticed from the title. This mean the words are not arranged in alphabetical order. That means you have to know the word you are looking for in order to find it. If you are just learning Italian, this isn't the right choice.
