A perfect children's biking glove.
My young son (3 yrs) is a crazy rider on his bike. To avoid the repeated pain of palm injuries from his many (helmeted) crashes, I purchased him these gloves. They are fantastic! They fit perfectly on his hands (which are on the large side for his age) and he's received nary a scratch since. They have very solid construction, and although the leather material tends more towards soft rather than the rawhide an adult might choose, they protect against the sorts of light spills a young child will find themselves in a competent manner. The child then gets a comfortable glove that also works well for playgrounds and other sports, Expect a few misplaced fingers (as with any snug fitting glove) the first few times. The trick is to teach the child to splay her or his fingers after they pass into the glove for perfect fitment each time. The wrist velcro is strong and wide.

Great gloves for kids.
My kids love these. I have an average-sized 7 year old and 11-year-old. The L fit my 7-year old and the XL fit my 11-year old. They loved the gloves so much that they wore them to school the very next day.The material is leather padded where your palms are and spandex material on the backs of your hands. It's light and easy to maneuver your fingers in. My kids love them though the gloves were not bought for any true utilitarian reason, just for looks but if my kids needed to use them for bike riding or scooter riding, they would work perfectly.

They were excited to be able to do the monkey bars and
I purchased a size up because of other reviews. I don't think you need a size up since they are stretchy and I can fit into them and I think they are supposed to be snug. My kids liked these for the monkey bars but once the novelty wore off- they complained that the gloves make their hands hot and sweaty and defeat the purpose of wearing them; to prevent blisters and improve traction on the monkey bars.I think every kid is different and some will like these and others won't-it is a personal preference. Sorry I can't say they were awesome and solved the monkey bar blister issue.

My 7 year old daughter LOVES these gloves!
These are a hit. She loves wearing these. She says the backs of the gloves feel like "swimsuit" material. She's only worn them a few times, but was complaining that her hands were hurting from the bike handgrips. She is very slim, and has long, slim fingers. We purchased a size Large. The gloves are snug enough not to move around, but will definitely fit her for a couple of years. She has had no complaints, and is excited to wear her bike safety gear now, even just for riding around in the driveway. :)

Nice gloves
I bought these so my son could hold onto this bar swing at the park and not hurt his hands. He supposed to occupational thereby, but some of you parents with children in need of services know how that goes. With the gloves, he can grip the bars better and hold on longer than he did before. Most importantly, he likes them with all of his sensory and spectrum issues.

Gloves work for belaying as well
I bought these gloves for my 8 y.o. to belay at the rock gym (per her request). I selected this pair because they have leather palms, whereas some of the other kid-sized gloves are synthetic. She reports the gloves work well. Her hands are neither large nor small for her age, and the fit is appropriately snug without being tight. The back of the glove is very stretchy, and I expect the leather palms to stretch a little over time for a custom fit.

nice gloves... fit very well.. but.....
gloves were very nice and they fit my grandchild well. however have to return because bought them to be used when he plays on monkey-bars to prevent getting blisters... and they didn't let him slide from one to the other. they were too well padded! so, if I had purchased them for him to ride bike, then it would have been fine. which is to bad cause he really liked them!

These gloves are leather and very well made for bicycle/sports.
This was one of the items that my grandson had on his Christmas list. When I saw these I figured they werea quality item and I was right. My grandson spent a few days at my home over the New Years days and he and my son went bike riding 2 days in a row for a few miles and my grandson told me that the gloves really felt good on his hands and they allowed him to hold on well as he rode.
