Easy to use and works great. Cleans well
Easy to use and works great. Cleans well. Ground a good bit of one Buck and one Doe this season. Mixed ground pork sausage (frozen) in grinder with 4:1 ratio.

Worked great Easy & Powerful
After some of the poor reviews I was skeptical. But a fellow from work said it works great. Bought one, and he was right. It does bog down when running tendons thru it. At first I thought it would stall out but just kept chugging away. I was surprised that it had a high speed. Used Low, first setting for first grind then on high when running some of the meat thru a second time. Reverse is nice but didn't need to use it.I would recommend this grinder. Sure beets building one on you own.

shipping abuse.
the box was destroyed, parts, warranty card, & manual were missing. would like replaced. it does work, that's the only reason I'm not sending it back. I had 23 lbs of meat seasoned & ready to grind. 20 yr old grinder died.

Cleans up super easy. Assembles/disassembles super easy
I am really enjoying this grinder. The price cannot be beat! It has everything the more expensive models have. Be sure and follow manufacturers grinding procedures. You need to be sure and remove silver skin etc. Cleans up super easy. Assembles/disassembles super easy. You should buy a can of food grade silicone spray for your grinding plates, wash them and immediately dry and spray w/ the silicone. Have made Breakfast Sausage, Italian Sausage and, grinding my own beef and turkey....this way I know there are no fillers or...???. It has always sort of tuned my stomach to shop for ground meat lying there in that Styrofoam tray not knowing what was ground up. I am a happy #12 Chard Grinder Owner. Oh by the way their customer service is awesome too. Just called to register for my warranty.

I'm in love!
I'm loving this electric grinder. As it had on the outside of the packaging, it has thoughtful design. Initially it made me laugh, but when I started looking at it, I realized they were right. The part you push the meat down with holds the other parts, the buttons are easy to use, and I like the way the grinder is secured into the motor with the flip of the switch. Now on to how it works. I've been struggling with an old Oster grinder that I've had for years. I couldn't get through a 1/2 pound without having to pull it apart and clean the stuff off of the blade (and we're very picky about cleaning up our meat before grinding). This grinder has a large shoot to put the meat through and grinds through our elk, pork, and suet like a champ. I did many pounds of meat quickly and effortlessly. Shoots it right out and there are three sizes of holes. Haven't tried the sausage tubes yet, but I'm sure they will do great. The device also takes a size 12 blade and those are available locally from Cabela's, so I'm happy about that as well. After struggling with my other grinder for years (partly because the blades are dull and there is no way to really sharpen them due to the way they are designed), I'm really excited to use this machine. Made loose elk sausage this afternoon and it worked better than I could have imagined. If anything changes, I'll repost. It would be nice if they included extra blades. I'm thrilled with this so far.

Great product for the money
My husband loves this grinder. He uses it for beef and venison. Works very well and easy to clean!

Worked for three batches and kicked the bucket
As far as the grinder goes, it works great. Was disappointed that the grinding plates aren't stainless steel. After cleaning and letting dry they rusted all over my sink. Going to see if I can buy some replacement blades that are actually stainless.Update: three uses and it’s a paperweight. Stopped grinding and won’t run - even after resetting switch multiple times and unplugging from power. Disappointed to say the least, save your money and buy a LEM.

Really wanted to love it
The grinder looks beautiful and feels like a very sturdy unit. The hopper and throat are much larger than my old Lidl grinder. Unfortunately when I went to grind some chuck roast with no silverskin for ground beef through the "fine" plate it bogged down substantially. I was expecting it to either overheat or blow a breaker. In fact it really didn't do much better than my $39 cheapo Lidl (maybe Silvercrest brand?) grinder. And yes, I had the blade in the right way. I'm wondering if I just got a bad unit. I wish I could return it but my idiot mailman had put the box in the pouring rain on my front stoop and it pretty much disintegrated.

Awesome meat grinder!
I read various reviews on grinders and decided on this one as it was rated best for hunters. The idea being that it could handle some bone fragments. I have ground lamb and turkey in this grinder so far and it works like a charm. Nothing needs to be forced. Has good weight to it and packs up nicely. Very pleased with the purchase and it is made in the USA. Solid.
