Number of days worth of enjoyable reading
This series is about a group of men who do mercenary work to save others--sometimes outside of the law--but often with the backing of law enforcement and politicians. But when the subject of human trafficking hits close to home, much of their attention shifts to taking out the ones responsible.Four books and one novella with each story building on the relationships from the prior one. I feel the author's strongest trait is the personalities of her characters and what she can make the reader feel. You'll want to read the next book because of the characters. All of the men and women are drop dead gorgeous, which is somewhat of a sore point with me. And in each book you've got the angst of both with the couple not knowing the feelings of the other until the very end. In that the books are formulaic. The sex is well written, although in the last two books, there's a lot more of it. Unfortunately, the author leaves it out of the novella, and that's a story many were waiting for. When You Dare - When Trace's sister Alina is abducted by human traffickers, Dare goes into Mexico to rescue his best friend's sister, also finding something he didn't expect. Another woman, Molly, is being held captive--starved, beaten and tortured--yet for a different reason than the other women he frees. They've got to figure out who is behind it, and why. Molly is interesting in that she's a romance author and we get to see a different aspect of the business. Her family is something else. You'll love Dare's living situation.Trace of Fever - Trace is working undercover as a bodyguard to get enough information to bring down a human trafficking operation. When Priscilla (Priss) Patterson shows up claiming to be the head bad guy's daughter, he does his best to keep her safe. She's got her own agenda and reasons to kill this guy and keeps getting in Trace's way.Savor The Danger - Jackson has been interested in Alina, Trace's sister, since first meeting her. But she's innocent and still recovering from her abduction. So he's rather surprised to wake up with her naked in his bed, with a smile and sated look on her face, and he can't remember a thing. He'd been drugged. Both of their lives are in danger and it takes awhile to figure out just which of them are being targeted. Humor comes from Trace being overprotective of his sister and knowing what she and Jackson are doing.A Perfect Storm - Arizona is a woman Jackson had rescued years ago and still feels very protective of, seeing her now as a little sister. She's actually a vigilante who has worked on her own to bring down human traffickers, having been a victim herself. She's both very capable and vulnerable. On her twenty-first birthday, she breaks into Spencer's home, wanting him to see her as an adult, and asking him, a bounty hunter, to be her back-up when she sets herself up as bait in a bar. He believes she's too young for him, but wants to both protect her as well as help her with some of her hang ups. What Chris Wants - Novella based on the heart and soul of the entire enterprise operation. Dare's best friend who not only keeps the household running, but manages and handles all details of the enterprise, making arrangements and doing research. A lovable character, he's gay, and while liking Matt, doesn't believe he can have a relationship because his actual job and what the guys do is so secretive. This one doesn't contain any explicit sex.

Wow, wow, wow!!!!!
I can see this series becoming movies!!! Love, love love all of the books!! Great characters, plenty of suspense, romance, and heat! The heroes are alphas but caring, and the heroines are strong and independent yet compassionate. and the stories are awesome! (It's hard to write a review of Lori Foster's books without exclamation points.😁) I have every book Lori wrote in print and digital, and have read them multiple times, especially this series.

Enjoyed the book
As with all her books, this book contains sex scenes and coarse language but no proof-reading errors that I noticed and no cliffhangers. This series does focus on human traffickers and if sexual abuse is a trigger, I suggest avoiding this series altogether. That said, I do enjoy Foster's books and this was no exception. SPOILERS! Arizona, the h, does have issues from being held by the traffickers and another reviewer mentioned that it seemed to her that the 'therapy' recommended in the book, is sex. I have to disagree with that. The 'therapy' started with years of revenge and doing her best to rid the world of traffickers whenever she can. In other words, she took back control and seducing the H was part of that. She doesn't come off as a brat to me. Anyway, that's my take on it. I enjoy Lori Foster books because the dialogue puts a smile on my face. Simple :)

Stormy Weather?
Another great story by Lori. This is about a Man, Spencer Lark the bounty hunter, and a young woman, Arizona Storm.Spencer reluctantly allows Arizona to be a decoy in an attempt to bring down a smuggling ring. Knowing so much about her tragic past, his protective instinct, and the attraction that is stirring in him makes it very difficult to allow her this.Arizona has to prove that she can handle this, that she is strong, and that she has a future with a group of men that specialize in busting the tough crime in the world. She knows from her past that this is the only place that she fits in, and yet she feels very alone. She is fascinated with Spencer and gets him to agree to help her plan to bust the smuggling ring. The only thing she didn’t expect that her fascination with him helps her to confront her fears and trust. The others would be too protective, Spencer respects her. With the plan in place, Spencer is ordered to maintain close proximity to Arizona at all times including the evenings. It’s the evenings that heat up when Arizona agrees to stay with him until they finish the job.

Awesome book set
This is one of the best box sets I've ever read. Four full length stories and a short novella. Dare rescues his partner's sister from human traffickers and in the process another American woman. Molly is badly beaten up and in bad shape but with Dare's help she heals. Someone deliberately set her up and they intend to find out who. Trace ends up with Priss who is one hellcat and a handful. Jackson ends up with Trace's sister Alani and Spencer ends up with Arizona. The novella is Chris and Matt getting together. Each story is awesome. Wish Chris' story had been longer. Love the characters and love this series.

love it
This is my favourite one of this series! I think Arizona has grown so much since the beginning and Spencer really just needed to have someone who wouldn’t give into him. I loved their dynamic and would love a follow up book a few years down the line from these 2.
