Sauder County Line Side Table/Night Stand, Salt Oak finish

This side table is much prettier in person than in the photos. I recently moved and did not bring any furniture with me so I have been ordering lots and lots of furniture on Amazon. I first ordered my bedroom furniture(two nightstands, dresser and chest of drawers) which were all made by Sauder. After assembling all of the bedroom furniture, I knew I wanted to order the living room furniture from Sauder, as well. Their furniture is very well made, sturdy and for the most part easy to assemble just some of it is time consuming. I have put all of my furniture together by myself with no help so that tells you that their instruction manuals are very thorough. They come with very detailed step by step instructions on how to assemble the furniture and if you get to any step you do not understand, you can contact them and they will walk you through it. Along with this side table, I ordered the entertainment credenza and coffee table in salt oak. They are all so beautiful! The quality of Sauder furniture is remarkable and I still have a sofa table to buy and a dining set and will for sure go with Sauder. I cannot say enough about them!

Great instructions! Everything is there. Build alone, ok. Build with help at one specific point, much better. Before tightening cams, stand on its legs and make it even, then tighten. Putting in the screws for the cam pegs, go carefully. Keep straight.I bought and built two, salt oak. Love them! They may be sauder sawdust, but they are solid and nice looking, will really last. Would recommend, would buy again. American made! Good luck finding this quality of build in solid wood new at this price.Also bought a king headboard prepak. It was not sauder, few instructions, missing bits. If sauder had this style in a cubby headboard king size we'd have bought it too.

This table was pretty easy to assemble. It’s pretty sturdy and looks great in my living room.

I really like this end table. It is easy to assemble. Directions are straight forward and easy to follow! The table itself is sturdy. The rustic style blends perfectly with the costal farmhouse decor in my great room. The drawer open and closes with ease. This piece has a bottom shelf for magazines, or nicknacks, etc. Great value for what I paid! I highly recommend this end table!

I took a chance and ordered 2 of these nightstands in spite of some of the reviews. Most complained about the drawer not fitting/functioning properly, so I knew that at least one, if not both, would need to be returned. That’s just the way my luck runs. I took a chance only because they had all the features I was looking for. But I’m happy to report that my experience with these tables couldn’t have gone smoother. I will say that I have put together furniture like this many times over the years, so maybe that’s why it was a little easier, but for a 63 year old woman it wasn’t bad at all. Everything about the instructions and assembly was understandable to follow, and I had both tables put together in no time. No drawer issues, missing parts, dents or damage. I am very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend this piece!

I bought this to spruce up our den, along with the 3 shelf bookcase. We put both together as soon as we got them yesterday. The directions were great and all the pieces were marked to easily identify. Once we got the end table together, we noticed a small scrape on the edge of the top of the table. I called Sauder and got through right away. The representative immediately said she would order a new part to replace it, and it's already on the way through Fedex. We're very impressed with the quality of the furniture and the amazing customer service! I just recommended Sauder furniture to my daughter, since she's looking for things for their new house. I will definitely buy Sauder furniture again when I need more - very sturdy and attractive, and I know customer service will help if I need them.

Personally I thought this was very easy to assemble and the directions seemed clear. The only problem I had was the handle. The two spots where you put the screws in, one of has threads where the screw will go in and the other doesn't, so the screw couldn't grip and go in. I meant to message the sellers but I'm sure I've missed my time frame to do so, so I thought about looking for another handle or gluing it in. Other than that one problem (random mistake, sure nobody else had this problem), this is perfect. It's sturdy, has the right about of storage in the drawer and the space underneath is great for decorations. The color also goes great with almost any color scheme and style

It's just as nice looking after assembly as in the catalog, no raw or splintered edges, visible screws or brackets. The instructions are well detailed and there are online videos and personal assistants to help. For me it went pretty fast until it came time to fit the drawer into the stand. Then I spent a few hours cursing and trying different adjustments to screw positions, only to find out that all the time I was engaging the guides wrongly. You might want to avoid that simple error before getting frustrated.A lot of reviews have argued whether this is more grey than brown and vice versa. To us it is more brown than grey (what we wanted) but more usefully it is very true to the picture on the webpage. We have bought from Sauder before and would certainly do so again. Their stuff has a quality feel.

Must admit I was nervous ordering furniture on line. Better than picture! OMG the end tables have seen more of North America than I have! Arrived 2 days later than expected but that's just customs. ( USA to Canada) Excellent shape. Easiest user manual ever and I'm a technical writer myself! Top quality. Easy assembly. Big shout out to company and will not hesitate to order from them again.
