A very nice product
I'm reordering this set once more because I was very satisfied with my first package. It comes in 15 colors and has several gold and silver foil sheets inside. The paper is very smooth and folds well. It is perfectly square and holds creases very well, and it is durable enough to suit most of my needs. If you want to do a complex piece with many, many folds (like an origami spring), I would suggest getting a larger size but I honestly haven't had a problem with it for models ranging from modular origami to roses, cranes, inflatables, etc. Just this week, I used this pack when volunteering to teach a gaggle of kids how to make origami (that's how I ran out, actually), and even the smallest ones at ages 4-5 didn't have trouble handling the paper without it ripping. If you make action origami, such as flapping birds the folds do wear out eventually and start to rip, but even then it takes a pretty long time. If you're patient with the paper and take your time, it should work fine.

Nice paper, good price
The product description is not as detailed as I wanted when I was ordering, so I will add some information here. I was very happy to find that this origami paper is white on one side, and colored on the other. Some paper sold as origami paper is the same color on both sides (such as this Origami- Colored Folding Squares Giant Pack of 500 6x6 Inch Sheets ). There are 18 different solid colors - red, yellow, dark purple, orange, green, blue, white, pink, dark green, light purple, peach, dark gray, light yellow, dark blue, brown, black, silver, and gold. Origami paper is quite thin, so even 500 sheets only stacks up to 1.5" high. My son has recently become very interested in origami, and he is thrilled with this purchase. He is very satisfied with the paper colors and quality.

Great value for the price. Perfect for beginners
These papers are colored on one side and white on the other. I wish I got to write down all the colors, but once they were opened, the children got to them before I did, including the rare gold and silver metallic ones. The paper is on the thin side, possibly a teeny-bit thinner than regular printer paper. Definitely not as thick as higher-quality origami paper, but these are still crisp enough and are easier for beginner and children to learn.

Perfect pack for modular origami
For me, I found that bulk ordering origami paper gave me excellent motivation to experiment on my models - in coloring and techniques. I didn't have to worry about running out of certain colors, as there are around 25 sheets of each. The paper is very nearly perfectly square, which is a must for most origami projects. The paper folds and creases well, and the color doesn't wear off easily. This pack was especially helpful for modular origami models, which will often times need 18-60 sheets of paper per model (I like cutting the paper into fourths or ninths to make smaller models and conserve paper)!

Great gift for a budding origami artist (especially children!)
There are plenty of more expensive and likely higher quality origami papers floating around for sale... but if you are learning (and likely to make mistakes), or looking to purchase a good gift for a younger enthusiast... this is a great value! It's simple bright colors, and enough to keep anyone busy for quite some time. My only warning is that it's not really a resealable package. I made my boyfriend's niece a little cardboard box measured to fit the paper (it was a Christmas gift so I just used a discarded gift box and cut it down to fit properly), so that it wouldn't get crumpled or ruined from being thrown around. Origami paper is very thin and needs to be stored properly to avoid unwanted creases and such.

Great origami paper for beginners
This isn't the best quality paper for origami but it is great for beginners. My 9-year old loves origami and makes all sorts of things with this paper. Good for the price.

Excellent origami paper
My son says this is very nice paper and perfect for practice folding. Paper seems to be durable and easy to crease. All sheets are white on one side and colored on the other. This set consists of red, orange, peach, light yellow, bright yellow, light green, dark green, light blue, dark blue, light purple, dark purple, pink, white, black, gray, brown, and 2 foils: silver and gold. An additional surprise was instructions for folding 14 different origami. Overall quite pleased.

Not what I expected
I am working on a 1000 crane project so I thought this 500 pkg would be a good idea and the other comments made me believe it was. I just got it, tried to work on 3 cranes and none of them worked! I will be returning it tomorrow. Poor quality and not easy to handle, it doesn't fold well, even the foil sheets. I will try one that is higher in price. My cause is worth it.
