Closet lighting
Perfect solution to a pantry closet with no light or outlet ! I used this in three storage closets. The self adhesive backing stuck to the inside trim well. I was careful to clean any dust off the surfaces first. I am in these closets several times daily for the past six months and have the original batteries still in the units. When I open the door the light comes on instantly and goes off on it’s own after a minute.

Excellent brightness but not adhering to my smooth cabinet walls
I love the concept so I bought a few as gifts as well. It’s nice and bright I can’t tell it’s battery powered. I stuck it up inside a kitchen cabinet but it’s been falling off. I’ll have to consider some dots of glue to replace the stick on strip.

Difficult to pull backing to expose adhesive
UPDATE: the backing is poorly manufactured. You can pull it off so the adhesive is on the proper side but it is difficult. Unfortunately the light strip has no adhesive. The backing that you peel off and throw away has the adhesive. The product works perfect other than that, but without the adhesive this product is rendered useless for me. Other reviewers have mentioned this same problem so it is a systematic issue. Amazon was kind enough to handle the return, since I was well within the return window.

Pantry Lighting
I have under the stairs storage that I turned into a pantry. There isn't any permanent lighting. These are fantastic. The fact they're motion activated made them perfect.

Holy bright Batman
Like others have mentioned I wish these had a dinner or at least a dinner setting. It's like a summer midday when they turn on. The motion detection is fairly sensitive which would be good if our cats didn't set it off all the time. Lastly the batteries only lasted <2 months for us.

Fabulous lighting
I’ve read many time that there is no adhesion. Carefully peel off the paper and the adhesive stays where it should. The adhesive is very sticky and the lights are awesome. Take your time peeling off the paper and you will be satisfied

the sticky part of tape on the throw away side
i dont like anything about this product . the tape is only sticky on the side you throw away. the motion detector dont work the remote is cheesy as well . i dont recommend this product at all
