Much too salty
If you take a 3 ounce portion, quarter of the container, you will get a third of salt allowance for the day. It is easy to add salt, but impossible to remove it. So why this salt mania.? And I bought six containers.P.S. I added a star to the product because I should have done more research. It seems corned beef is made by taking meat from the tough part of the cow and curing it in brine. That softens the meat but makes it salty. "Corned" has nothing to do with corn but is from cured. So now I will try to rinse the cb to reduce the salt. Hope that works. I really like corned beef and cabbage. Great dish. Where would the Irish be without it.

This Classic Tastes Just Like I Remember it, 30 Years Ago.
When I was a child, my Dad used to buy Libby's Corned Beef for His Lunch Box. Sometimes there was a sandwich left over and I'd charm him out of it, with jokes and childish ways. They were delicious, just adding a little mayo and some lettuce . Sometimes he would pack his lunch with the Corned Beef and Royal Lunch Biscuits(I haven't seen these in years). Dad has been dead for some time, but the warm memories remain.

Love it!
Hard to find in stores in my area. Very versatile-use in sandwiches, casseroles, hash & soups. Very convenient to have on hand. Tastes good too.
