Betty Crocker Loaded Mashed Potatoes, 4.7 oz (Pack of 7)

I purchased these of a friend who feeds a family of 9 and I help with shelf stable pantry items as I can. These are very tasty as packaged mashed potatoes go. Easy to prepare and tasty!  The four cheese is one of their favorite flavors. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer.  I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including over 24,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Family loves these and great for getting something quick on the table vs mashed potatoes the old fashioned way. Nice consistency and flavor. Usually no leftovers, even when I make a double batch. No need to add anything to these (other than maybe topping it with some crumbled bacon). Price is cheaper than I can find locally.

These are pretty decent powdered mashed potatoes, but they aren't as convenient or tasty as Idahoan's. These also need milk+butter to make, whereas Idahoan just needs hot water. But they aren't bad by any means.

Being a mom on a very tight budget trying to feed a lot of people this is definitely well worth the money. All it needs is water. Which I love and the flavor is extremely good. All the flavors that are thru Betty Crocker are extremely good in my opinion and I highly recommend getting and trying all of them.

These things are pretty good and easy to make are you in a make I even am able to boil the water in my coffee maker and he did that way without actually technically boiling it I mean the temperature wise but heating it up in the coffee maker and using that water to mix with the potatoes works just as well as the pot on the Pan or in the microwave.Being visually impaired it's nice to have quick easy meals that I can do without cooking much and this is one of them sometimes I take these or other flavors of these types of potatoes and throw a can of can chicken in with them and make a more hearty meal lot of it I can do all sorts of things with stuff like these potatoes and I really enjoyed tlee enjoyed them I will generally add some butter and sometimes even some sour cream after I've cooked them I've cooked them I can only eat about a 1/2 a bowl A bowl being all of it in a sitting and then I'll put them up in the frontThey're even pretty good cold the next day definitely suggest for someone who is a single person trying to eat on a budget

These are very convenient to keep around for the days between running out of regular potatoes, and the next grocery store run. As long as the price stays at grocery store price, I will continue to buy these here - because I spend more time here than any grocery store, and convenience is key..So is variety. Keep the price low and offer variety, and I will happily continue purchasing this product here.

The fact that you have to add butter and milk - makes this much LESS convenient and more expensive since that additional cost has to be calculated to the final cost. There is no discernable improvement in the taste either. I would recommend looking for the Idahoan product - if not here, then in your local stores (Kroger and Target for example).
