Abode Key Fob | Arm & Disarm Your abode System On The Go with The Touch of a Button - Works with All Abode Security Systems

We bought this for our family member who take care of our dog. She always forgets the alarm code so we bought this Abode Remote Alarm fob for her. She now leave it in her car and it works great for her. Also the Abode app lets us know when the fob is used.

The push button part works great. However, the rubber covering over the buttons doesn't last but around a year. Then it rips and falls off. Buttons are then exposed and vulnerable to pocket lint, moisture, and who knows what else. This is my second one to fail.Abode needs to find a way to make the cover for the push buttons a little stronger. The batteries in the whole abode system are still going after years but the remote is a short timer.

I don't use my key fobs on a daily basis, so durability hasn't been an issue for me. However, I am unhappy to have to replace my key fobs just because the battery is low and not replaceable.

I don’t have much experience with this device yet but so far it’s working as expected .

I’m on my 4th keyfob. They all eventually stop working. According to a reviewer on trust pilot, the company knows the key fobs are a major problem.The customer service on the other hand is horrible. It will take you weeks of circular discussion, getting you nowhere, and the dude that response to you doesn’t read your emails he only skim them. It is become a nightmare dealing with them.

I have two. Very easy to use and highly reliable.But look at the meaningless symbols on the buttons. It's impossible to remember what they mean.
