A stable, reliable platform for high powered weapons.
The Mark 4 system of rings and bases are a shooters delight. It solved the problem with accuracy and sighting issues and added a couple of extra benefits. 1) Provides rapid interchangeability of scope with other weapons and picatinny rails installed. 2) Easier adjustment for eye relief. 3) quality of the components to withstand the stress factors from a high powered rifle. 4) The support and technical advice available from Leupold is absolutely remarkable. Might be a "little" more expensive set up, but you get a system that will outlast all others manufactured to date!

Rail fit perfectly on my Savage Stealth 6.5. I've always had good luck with the higher end Leupold products and this is no exception. The rail that came on the Stealth was a 0 MOA which made no sense given what the Stealth is designed for and in addition it was an alum rail. Most of the 20MOA rails I could find were alum which I'm sure is fine, but for whatever reason I just like the strength and durability of steel rails and mounts - just my preference. I would 100% buy another one of these in the future if needed.

Great OE product to mount scope
Well made, precision machined component that fit my Remington 700 short action rifle and my Leupold scope/mount rings. Screws with locking capability and torx driver supplied. Instructions for mounting clear and concise. Highly recommend

Fits perfect on my savage
Just what I needed to fit on my savage 110 3006, the base that I had on it was full size made it difficult to load box magazine, Using these Leupold bases opens up my loading space.cons none

Very sturdy easy to install

I must be nuts
I put this on my Weatherby Mark V Accumark 28" bbl 6.5x300 mag. LOL.Zero at 100 on this caliber is in 6" kill zone out to 450+yards. So 20 MOA base is overkill but it's less flex that 2 piece and I want to shoot 1000 for fun.

So far perfect
Once I got the scope and mounted it, the rail seems to have worked well. I have not tried to shoot beyond 200 yards. Getting the scope and rings took a long time.

Leupold never lets me down!
Great product! Solid steel construction, adds rigidity to my Remington 700 action. Not cheaply made... best BANG for the buck! (Pun intended)
