EXCELLENT PRODUCT
This stuff worked great. Our walk in shower has a ceramic tile floor which was very slippery when wet. We should have used outdoor non-slip type tile but succumbed to design considerations. We thought of a large piece of outdoor carpet or a rubber mat as a solution but concern over mildew (rot!) even when picking it up after showering precluded that solution. The thought of self-adhesive non-slip strips as we have in the garage would have been ugly. Finally, after almost slipping and falling in the shower, a search of the Internet led us to Miracle Sealants 511 and ultimately Amazon. We cleaned the floor surface with TSP and a stiff scrub brush and let it dry. The MS 511 instruction give several methods of applying the sealant and a somewhat confusing step of taking up the excess. We used a 2" cheap paintbrush and paid attention to getting the liquid into all grout lines and at the edges of the walls. There was no apparent excess. After drying for about 6 hours a second coat was applied. The first coat was not checked for anti-slip quality using the "more is better" approach. The result is much better than we expected. Now, when the floor is wet, it is non-slip. The tiles don't look any different wet or dry but the likelihood of a slip is reduced 90% with a little attention and care. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

Great with Easy but Lengthy Application
Seems to be working so far. My bathroom had been deadly when wet prior to applying this. I applied two coats with a throw away paint roller kit to a 135 sq ft bathroom. The only difficulty is that you cannot walk on it while it is wet. This means that you can only apply enough at a time so that you can reach it all to wipe it off with a towel 3 to 5 minutes later. So, I had to do it in about 6 sections. This meant that it took about 40 minutes to do one coat. Then there was a few hour time between coats and then another coat (highly recommended) of the same 40 minutes. After that there was an at lease 24 hour full cure time. This meant that bathroom was not usable for about 29 hours This might be difficult in a commercial environment.. At the end, I had about a half of the quart container left. And I saved a lot by not replacing my tiles with the anti-slip variety.UPDATE: After 6 months, the product was still doing the job. I have reapplied as suggested and I probably still have enough for the next treatment in another year (this time).

Sealant is good
I purchased this sealant hoping to add grit to my shower landing. The sealant that I had before had worn off. I was starting to slip and slide getting out of the shower. It's not as much fun as the kid's slip and slide. Anyway, I also added some additional grit, hoping to almost stick to the floor. I will need to experiment with this because the floor still isn't as gritty as I would like. It is easy to apply and cleanup is a breeze, so I don't mind trying it again with more of the grit stuff that I added. I did put some of the extra the sealant on some terra cotta tiled steps and when it rained, water was repelled. The grit amount was fine on the steps. I have had it on the steps for about a year and they remain dry and non-slippery. All in all, this is a good product, but purchase additional grit additive to it if you need a really non-slip surface.

They're right - it's miraculous!
My dear old dog is getting older and weaker, and was slipping so much on the tiles that he confines himself to the rugs in the corridor, not joining us in the main rooms where we sit. Since I used this amazing product, he's been absolutely fine walking around, it really is a miracle! I was worried it might look different to the usual high-gloss finish, but it goes on easily with a regular clean floor mop (I had no excess to wipe up) and is completely invisible when dry, not affecting the look in the slightest, but providing a sure footing. I wish I'd found it years ago!

Waste of time and money.
I've been concerned about our exterior travertine entryway, which gets slippery when it's wet. We experience daily rains in So. Florida, so it's often wet and thought this might be the answer. Unfortunately, after applying 2 coats, the surface seems to be more slippery than before.

Doesn’t work on exterior surfaces.
The original owner of my house used decorative indoor tiles on the front porch. Looks great, slippery as all get out when it’s wet. So I tried this product, it goes on great and super easy. It didn’t help the slipperiness though.

Great product!
I totally recommend this product! I made a granite & mortar walkway on my cement slab walkway this summer, and the granite was SOOO slippery, especially when wet. I fell twice, and was worried about safety. I applied this twice in a week period, and it made such a huge difference — the granite isn’t really slippery at all anymore even when wet! I will definitely be buying this product again to reapply every 6-8 months to ensure the walkway stays safe!

Doesn't really work in a shower very well
We have a fairly large shower (3' x 10') that we call the "care wash". I purchased a product for the slippery tile floor a couple of years ago that worked well, but had limited coverage so that I could not treat the couple of feet on the ends. I thought this product seemed like a better value, so took a shot. After treating the areas not previously covered I noticed pretty much no change. The other product was somewhat gritty whereas this really seemed more like just a sealant, no texture at all. Might be helpful on a bathroom floor that is mostly dry, but not in a shower or bathtub.
