There’s potential for a little on the side, since there is a seam there, but I don’t notice anything when I wear black athletic leggings.

Q: How well would these fit a male wearer with relatively small package?

Why would a man wear women's panties? There are many options for men's underwear. These are not designed to fit a man- hence, women's underwear.
