Works well and It fitted a Makita DGA513Z Angle Grinder
With some effort I managed to get the shroud to fit onto the Makita. The supplied Makita tool for tightening the wheel barely fits as the cup is deep. The tool supplied here for the deeper cup does not fit the Makita hole spacing to clamp the wheel in place. Other than that, it worked very well and I managed to grind a lot of floor concrete with this device. The vacuum for dust extraction needs to be good, probably designed for the task and not a domestic vacuum cleaner that will clog fast. You may get by with a Henry cleaner but expect to change the bag after. I used an industrial vac for use with power tools that has a high capacity. The opening area of the shroud is very useful for getting close to edges without too much dust escaping. It comes with a number of adaptor rings and making the selection took a while to realise what size would work best on the Makita. I did manage to get it to fit but it was a trial and error process before I was happy to spin it up (the fit was not perfect but worked). The wheel lasted for the entire job removing in some areas 10mm of concrete and with plenty more capacity remaining. A good grinder and variable speed helps with getting started without diving in at full speed. I read the instructions several times but found them poor - so like most guys figured it out myself. Dust was in the air after grinding but nothing like what would have been if I had not used this shroud, in fact past indoor grinding has led to not being able to see the other side of the room! This was much better and saved a lot of clearing up. The brushes on the shroud help keep it level and act as a guide with the cup approximately level with the brush tips. Material removal was fast with the supplied wheel so no complaints there. I would buy again.

Works well just needs a little modification.
Works well but the vacuum link up accessories could be a better fit...had to duck tape them in place to work properly.

It works!
Bought this to grind the thinset down in my kitchen floor. Sadly it did not fit my angle grinder because my angle grinder was too big..... However it did fit my tilers small angle grinder and he was able to get rid of thinset with the minimal amount of dust, made a difficult job easy. It was excellent value for money, decent quality however do check the size of your angle grinder first.

Still clearing up the dust!
The Grinder wheel worked really well but I couldn’t get the shroud to fit properly. Tried every which way and it wouldn’t fit. THE DUST THO!!! Oh my days! I’m still cleaning it up a month later! It did what I needed it to do. The clean up was an extra job and that’s reflected in the rating.

Excellent
This was an absolute gift..I didn’t use it on my Makita cordless but instead had an old corded extreme brand bought from Argos and it fitted perfectly without any of the adapters needed. I’d quite a large area that needed to be levelled out and connected to my Makita shop vacuum I was actually amazed at how well it worked. Dust was kept to a minimum while holding the grinder parallel to the floor so the brushes on did their job.All in all I would recommend this product as here in Ireland you would struggle just to buy the grinding disc for the price.

Surprisingly good but I think the suggestion to use washers to adjust cut depth is dangerous
The grinding cup and shroud were surprisingly effective - no dust at all and just with a Henry hoover, not an industrial vacuum. However, I disagree strongly with the instructions to pack washers behind the grinding cup to adjust the cut height, which is controlled by the relative levels of the bristles and the grinding cup. Unless you have a supply of 22mm ID washers, 14mm ID washers and a 22mmx 14mm washer sufficiently thick to centre the grinding cup on what will probably be a threaded section of the drive shaft, you are going to end up with a grinding cup that is not properly secured and almost certainly out of balance.A far simpler (and safer) solution is to trim the height of the bristles to the required level with a pair of sharp scissors and to keep trimming if the grinding cup shows significant wear - which mine didn't.Yes, it's a one-way process, so not ideal if you expect to use it so much that you wear out the grinding cup and have to replace it with a new one, but for the average user with a one-off job it could avoid a trip to A&E.

Don't bother if you have a dewalt
If you have a dewalt grinder look again, you have to take it apart to get it in and then it only just fits if you have a spare bush
