This is a great hedge cutter easy to use battery last for long time would highly recommended it

Likes:- battery life. Ease of adjustments. Reach. Does the job. Dislikes:- Heavy. No strap included to help with weight. The place you want to grip the pole to keep it balanced & steer the blade, is also the plastic screw down collar that attaches the end of the pole (see picture). This results in loosening the joint every time you twist your hand. I have taped it to stop it happening. Still a good machine despite this.

Bought this to trim the branches of next door’s overhanging trees. I had been doing this previously with my ordinary Greenwork’s hedge cutter on a ladder. In my 70’s and in deference to my wife’s concerns and my own safety!! I decided to buy this pole version. Brilliant!! Easy to assemble and use, and cuts through the branches like a hot knife through butter. One of my best buys ever.

It's long and it's heavy but my god does it cut , Great for getting on top of my tall hedges, a joy to use. I no longer hate cutting hedges. Do I recommend it yes I certainly do. Cheers greenworks

Please beware, this product comes with a 3 year guarantee, BUT when the unit failed after 2 years 6 months Amazon refused to deal with the warranty as they stated they only guarantee items for 2 years , I then contacted GeeenWorks direct and they emailed back saying it’s on Amazon to resolve, and again Amazon stuck to the 2 years despite their invoice stating 3 year warranty

I have now been using this pole cutter all summer. I have several hundred feet of high privett, and native hedging and this piece of kit has made my life so much easier. I hardly have to climb a ladder any more and the 2m length means I can cut back larger tracts of hedge very quickly. The battery life is very good, using it for a number of tasks yesterday I was thinking this must go flat soon, but it didn't. Charging time is 30 minutes on average which means if you have a spare battery, you can keeping working almost continuously. I also have a Greenworks cordless mower which uses the same battery, making the price of other tools considerably lower. Great piece of kit and thoroughly recommended.

When I received the hedge trimmer I couldn’t wait to get started and initial impressions were positive with it having no problem dealing with the new growth on my conifer hedge. It stopped working and I assumed the battery needed charging. The next day got ready to finish hedge off but it would not start and smoke started coming out of unit. Inspected blades etc nothing jamming blades so not sure the problem . Contacted Amazon and grateful that once collected they would send me a replacement. Within a week the replacement arrived but the delivery driver was concerned about condition of the box and took photos which didn’t fill me with much confidence. The box had obviously been opened and whoever had opened it couldn’t be bothered to repack properly and the box was wrapped with dpd tape. Once opened the battery charger was missing rendering the trimmer useless. Requested a charger but was told to repack and send the lot back. Am now going to B&Q .

Works well but heavy needs a strap

Köpte 40v istället för 24v för att jag tänkte jag skulle gå upp i nivå högre för att få ett kraftigare verktyg. Klipparen är tyvärr otroligt svag och får problem med inte allt för stora grenar. Den är mycket svagare om jag jämför med min Milwaukee 18v häcksax. Har bara hunit köra genom batteriet 2 gånger och klipparen har hakat upp sig så att motorn inte kan köra alls tills man låssat skären coh monterat tillbaka. Skären har redan fått hack och Jack i sig så kvaliten på dessa är väldigt låg och metallen är alldeles för mjuk.
