Pet Factory28750 Chicken Dog Roll, 40-Pack

My dogs absolutely love this product. However, shortly after I started giving it to them, they started to develop a lot of itching and hot spots. They are very sensitive to grains and sugars, and I checked the packaging to see if these could be the culprit, but there were no ingredients listed. I contacted Pet Factory and their representative was very helpful. She gave me the list of ingredients (beef hide, Potato starch, Maltodextrin, hydrolyzed poultry liver, brewers dried yeast, guar gum, mixed tocopherols and caramel), but said they should have been listed on the package. Looking at the package more carefully, I realized that the Amazon seller had put their own bar code label directly over a Pet Factory label that did in fact list the ingredients, thus completely obscuring that information. The Pet Factory representative said they would address this issues with distributors, so hopefully in the future the ingredient list will not be obscured. If your dog is sensitive to carbs, you might want to choose a different product, but if your dog doesn't have such issues, it will undoubtedly love them, as mine did.

The BIG FAT LIARS at PET FACTORYI lost count of how many times the word "American" appeared on this package. It seems that is where the beefhide they ship off to MEXICO for processing may originate. They then compress it into a cheap, crummy product that made my dog sick. Further microscopic investigation of package revealed under hidden label their sneaky Mexican secret. Logic tells me, they must ship the hides to Mexico and then process them in a non-regulated by FDA plant that compresses them into a flavored roll which when broken in half has a woodlike appearance. Best to AVOID.

The word AMERICAN plastered across the top is certainly wrong. These treats were processed in MEXICO. I took my dog to the vet for diarrhea after giving him just one. American across the top is downright deception. I'll never buy this product again. I threw them in the garbage.

The dogs would likely have given this item five stars. I gave it four because though the treats are apparently very flavorful, they are crispy and don't last long. The dogs gobble them up. I like the stick to last long enough for me to finish my snack before the dogs are finished and ready to go out. These treats, being crispy, don't provide the dogs any chewing to clean their teeth and exercise their gums.

They stink!! They smell like feces. I can't stand too touch them & they smell, up the entire container of treats. Gone in the garbage.... outside!

I too trusted that these were indeed made in the USA. They are processed in Mexico - meaning they were shipped there likely loaded with preservatives. I also agree, they smell terrible - and my collie won't eat them.

These sticks are the crumbly kind. My dogs are finished with them in just over 1 minute. I prefer the rawhide sticks for my dogs, as they chew and chew on them for a long time (good for their teeth and gums). These are more like a 'treat', however.

I love these, not only do the dogs enjoy them but McTavish the kitten plays with them (until one of the pups steals it from him:))
