Fingerprint! Pocket Classics are perfect pocket-sized editions with complete original content. Convenient to carry, priced right, and ideal for gifting and collecting, each classic with its vibrant cover and flap jacket offers an ultimate reading experience. It’s the Sahara Desert, and a pilot has crashed his plane. When suddenly a young boy—with golden hair and a loveable laugh, and who claims to have fallen to Earth—appears before him and asks him to draw a sheep, what does he do? He draws it! Thus begins this poetic and sublime adventure, an enchanting fable, The Little Prince, which encloses in its heart the teachings of love, loss, loneliness, and friendship. Review: Very valuable - A valuable book to read to the children . Review: Review of an endermen. - I liked that the boy was curious. Like, he was always asking questions.I would recommend this to Lil' Petey from the world of Dog Man (Haha) If he existed. Also, my boyfriend, Torin. And I gave this 5 stars because of the imagination and plot.

Typos mar an otherwise perfect book
Of course this book is brilliant; we all know that. This edition, however, has obviously been optically scanned and printed without being proofread. "Naïve" always appears as "nad've", for instance, and there are mistakes in capitalization, that sort of thing. But otherwise, the book is well-printed, with the illustrations as they should be. If you really love this book, get a better edition. But one can't beat the price!

This is the best translation. Period.
The Little Prince is a treasure from my childhood and, as an adult, I continue to learn from it. Though I may be biased because it was the version I grew up with, I also grew up to be an English teacher, and the Katherine Woods translation cannot be matched in its beauty. When the more modern translation became popular, I had a hard time finding books in the Katherine Woods translation, which I liked to give as gifts. Imagine my joy upon seeing this translation pop back up again because of its anniversary. I wanted to give this book as gifts to the students in my Writer's Workshop class, and I was thrilled to find this version. This pocket classic version may not have the best picture quality; if you're looking for great picture quality, spend the money on a hardback. But if you're looking for a publication that is nice enough yet economical enough to give as a gift for students, this is a good option. The translation is more important to me than the images. This pocket version is allowing me to pass this beautiful text along to another generation, and I hope it means as much to some of them as it has meant to me.

Inspiring Book For Young And Old!
I know I've read this book in the past, but I decided to read it again with my eight-year-old and at first, I didn't know if I even understood it. But as we read on, we both started to get it. It's obviously a classic and has inspired both of us to seek adventure and beauty in the world, even more than we already do. At the end, I was sad to say goodbye to the Little Prince, as I had become attached to him. I think my eight-year-old was sad too, and perhaps a little bit confused. A charming classic with beautiful messages of imagination, love, and friendship.

Pictures placed randomly in the story
I read the original translation of The Little Prince on a PDF online and liked it so much that I had get a physical copy of the book. This one was the cheapest I could find that uses the original Katherine Woods translation, plus the cover is neat and attractive. However, the biggest issue I have is that the pictures inside the book seem to be randomly placed within their chapters, sometimes even in a different chapter from where the image should appear. This is especially glaring in the early chapters like Chapter 2, which I've attached photos of, where the pictures are part of the story itself - as in, the text will literally say something like "So I drew this: [PICTURE]", thus if you put the WRONG picture there, the story makes no sense. Placing the images in random spots scrambles storytelling as badly as if you'd mixed up the order of sentences. I had to add footnotes into my copy to link up where each sheep picture should appear in the text in order to make the story comprehensible. The pictures themselves are also of low quality and splotchy, which is to be expected of a small, black-and-white copy of the book. But it did only cost $5, and the actual physical book + text is fine. Sadly, the picture scrambling of the sheep pictures in Chapter 2 is bad enough that I wouldn't give this booklet as a gift to anybody I want to share the story with.

High-Quality Hardcover,Crisp White Pages, Exquisite Illustrations
This book features a hardcover with crisp printing, bright white paper, and thick pages similar to photocopy paper. Additionally, I bought another edition of "The Little Prince" that uses light yellow paper, making it more eye-friendly. The book contains both colored and black-and-white illustrations, providing a pleasant tactile experience. Overall, this is an excellent gift, perfect for children or adults who appreciate fairy tales.

Does Antoine de Saint-Exupéry have a Nobel Peace Price?
I know he passed away, one year after the release of Le Petit Prince, but I think this man is still alive. He is alive in my mind since I learnt the name of Le Petit Prince’s author, and he will always live in my heart. His perspective, his words, his masterpiece. Thank god I never read nor seen the movie, because I would not have appreciated this book as it deserves to be. I still cannot appreciate it enough I think, because I’m stubborn. I am extremely self-reflective in order to be the “best version of myself”. In other words, I am so scared of hurting others and failure; but I still fail to stop failing, sometimes unconsciously, and sometimes on purpose. What has not been said regarding Le Petit Prince? Well, how it impacted me. I am 20, in the exact point of my life where I feel lost, where I am scared of losing my endless daydreaming, but wanting to stop it for a while just to be closer to reality. I’m in the exact point where I would stay awake all night wondering if the sheep ate the flower or not, but then remembering that I have other “important things” waiting for me the next day, so I will force myself to sleep, and feel guilty the next day. Guilty for not wondering enough and guilty for using precious sleep time to wonder about “nonsense”. I will definitely re-read multiple times this bible. I highly recommend the audiobook narrated by Keneth Branagh. That last name sounds Irish, I wonder if it is.
