Great quality throwing knifes
Great buy for the money, the craftsmanship is awesome handles & blades are smooth with no rough edges and spear pointed part of blades are sharp. The length of knives are 11 inches and thickness is 4.80mm thick from handle and tapers to point. Has good thickness to point good quality, pretty beefy not light weight? Just a bit heavier I'd say it be medium weight. Throws perfect evenly balanced, the sheath is BASIC nylon. Good enough to hold knives.

Quality and good size.
The media could not be loaded. I have really like these knives. Much better than the s&w knives that I tried before. These have a good weight and are very durable. Been throwing them for a few months now and I think I'm gonna get the gen 5 set next. Overall they are a great value, you really get your money's worth out of them.

Pretty good but not a great design
The size and weight is great, but not really a fan of the shape. They are mostly made for conventional half-spin or full spin, but even with half-spin you'll get a lot of small cuts on your fingers because the blade is sharp for the first 3 inches or so which is way more than it needs to be for throwing knives. Only the tip needs to be sharp and maybe about 1/2" beyond that. I'm guessing that will get better as they wear out and the blades get dull. Also not very good for no-spin throwing because of that step between the handle and the blade. For a good experienced thrower they're probably fine, but for beginners it's a bit of a struggle. Nevertheless, for half spin or full spin they are pretty good and they stick well in the target. Worth having in addition to other styles of knives, but if I had to only pick one set, this wouldn't be it.

Won't be disappointed
Quality. Really well made. Fun to throw. Heavy but not too heavy. Nice "spear" look.

Looked really cool and had high hopes, but...
First off, I was super-stoked to finally splurge and get a set of quality throwing knives from the esteemed Gil Hibben line. I read a lot of good things in reviews of the many, various styles, including this one, and was excited to get these and try them out. When they arrived, I was a little intimidated by them, since they were so big, sharp, and well-crafted. So I took only one out to test on the rounds in the backyard. On the 2nd throw (none missed), the blade barely stuck horizontally, springboarding in the wood for a sec. When I took it out, I checked the tip, and sure-as-hell, it was BENT! The blade portion is SO THIN that it bends SO EASILY!!! I figured, if it bends that easily on the 2ND throw, imagine the condition of these things after 100 or 1000... So, needless to day... they're packaged up and on the way back to the seller. Sorry, Gil... Even though the Smith & Wesson ones break at the handles, at least they NEVER bend. I just have to wait for my warranty replacements!

Decent.
Product is okay. However they are not hardened what so ever. Garbage quality nicks easy and dings easy, and tips are weak. However mostly good knifes for the price. Good for practice sence they are cheap.
