If you don't mind the occasional splash of hot water then this item is for you. It does give out plenty of steam and has done more than expected when used for steaming clothing. Besides this, the item can be quite dangerous as it is not adequately sealed and can scorch you. I would not advise to allow any young persons to use this but if you're looking for a cheap quick fit then go for it.

It is a very good product. However it spills water (which its not a problem for me).Its lightweight and its much better than use the iron (depending on the material of your clothes).I recommend this product but have in mind tha you get for what you pay. Its not the best on the market but it does the job, at least for myself.My husband finds it very helpful to iron his works cloths. Take less then ironing it.I would buy it again.

Nothing on this item or on the box or paperwork says it's a Breville steamer which I initially thought, or a Beville which it clearly says in this description. I never heard of them, but at the time I thought I was getting a trade marked item. Other than that it works pretty good. Theres no trigger to give a blast of stream when needed, just a constant steam flow. Light weight. And heated up quickly.

I ordered this as I needed to steam some curtains (and will also be handy for steaming suits for my wedding next year). The curtains I have are super stiff and have been hung for a year and are still creased from the packaging. The steamer was really easy to use, just like an iron: add water and go, but without having to take the curtains down. It worked well enough for what I wanted, and got the most of the creases out. The lids a bit stiff, but for a cheap steamer it’s great. Worked great on a couple of shirts I tried it on. Super easy to use and really portable size so good for taking with you to get creases out of clothes if you won’t have an iron.

I ordered this for going on holiday but of course I had to give it a try! Basically it is a travel kettle with a vented spout - a very basic idea that does the job well. It is lightweight and boils quickly, if not a little vigourously. It doesn’t hold much water but is is enough to steam around 4 garments. I would say it would struggle with heavy cotton but for lightweight clothes on a sun holiday this would do the job well. The steamer has a little bag to keep it in which is great for travelling. All in all I’m impressed with this little gadget.

I had hoped that the steamer would prevent the need for ironing my uniforms. It works if you steam lightweight clothes just before fully dry and if you are not too fussy.

Bought this so that I wouldn't have to use the iron as much. First 2 times I used this it was fine no problems but the 3rd time I used it I filled it with the cold water and plugged it in, it heated up and then when the steam started to come out I went to pick it up and steaming hot water came shooting out of it hitting the wall. My cat and I were lucky to escape any serious burns my wall not as lucky. After it had ran out of water I took it into the bathroom and it had melted the plastic on the top of it. Seriously defective and dangerous it had just passed the return date so I can't even get my money back but I seriously would not recommend purchasing this at all its seriously a dangerous piece of equipment.
