Awesome backpack
I used this backpack while traveling through south east Asia for 2 months. It was able to fit all my belongings securely and fit comfortably. There are snaps around the chest and waist to keep the backpack steady. The backpack opens through one large opening at the top. You close the backpack by rolling the extra material at the top down and clasping the fastens on the ends. This method of securing the backpack was actually very convenient so you know people are not unzipping your backpack and you are able to cram more things into the bag without worrying the zipper will busy open. There are extra compartments as well to keep things you need right away on hand. The material the backpack was made of is very strong and durable. My backpack came back in almost perfect condition after my trip!

this one feels like I hardly have it on at all
I have a long torso and the Large fits me really well. It's the first pack that I've used in many years that fits me this well. Compared to other packs that I've worn, this one feels like I hardly have it on at all. It's super light and comfortable. Great for a long day trip in cold weather or over night trips.

excellent climbing pack
excellent climbing pack. If you are looking for a book pack, this isn't it. Not a lot of bells and whistles here, just a well made pack.

Nice backpack, large with few access, well protected for insulation.
It is a nice backpack, if you put something in the bottom it will take you a large arm to reach it by touching.

There are much better packs
This pack doesn't have enough compartments (or loops to hang any gear). I realized after looking at an Osprey pack. It's okay for a first pack but I would never buy it again.
