Highly Impressed
I recently had the opportunity to try the Monterey LG 5512 Turflon Ester Specialty Herbicide Concentrate Broadleaf Weed Killer for Lawns, and I must say, I am highly impressed with its performance. First of all, the 8 oz size of the concentrate is perfect for small to medium-sized lawns. It provides enough product to effectively treat a significant area without wasting any excess. The Turflon Ester formulation is specifically designed to target and eliminate broadleaf weeds, which can be a common nuisance in lawns. I found that it effectively controlled various types of broadleaf weeds, including dandelions, clover, and chickweed. The application process was easy and straightforward. I mixed the concentrate with water according to the instructions and used a sprayer to evenly distribute the solution over the affected areas. Within a few days, I noticed a significant reduction in the presence of weeds, and after a couple of weeks, they were completely eliminated. One of the things I appreciate about this herbicide is that it is selective, meaning it primarily targets broadleaf weeds while leaving the desirable grass unharmed. This is crucial in maintaining a healthy and attractive lawn. Furthermore, the Turflon Ester Specialty Herbicide Concentrate is fast-acting. It starts to show results within a short period, which is great for those who want to see quick improvements in their lawn's appearance. I also found the product to be long-lasting. It provided effective weed control for an extended period, preventing the weeds from regrowing and ensuring that my lawn remained weed-free. Overall, I highly recommend the Monterey LG 5512 Turflon Ester Specialty Herbicide Concentrate Broadleaf Weed Killer for Lawns. It is a reliable and efficient solution for anyone looking to eliminate broadleaf weeds and maintain a beautiful lawn.

Knocks Bermuda Grass To Its Knees...
I found this product 4 yrs ago after searching for a viable, low maintenance solution to controlling bermuda grass (not technically the same as wiregrass, but often interchanged) in my tall fescue lawn. I live in Charlotte, NC, and we mainly have fescue lawns though the climate also supports hot weather grasses like bermuda. I have nothing but A+ reviews for this product for controlling bermuda grass in my fescue lawn without harming the fescue. It will also control other tough weeds like African Violet, which the commonly available box-store brands can't touch (though they claim to - they suck compared to this). It will not eradicate bermuda, but, you will not know you have it after using this product. After 1-2 yrs, the stuff tries to come back in little patches; just apply another spraying and you're good for another 1-2 yrs. The only solution I've found short of digging up the entire lawn and re-sodding from scratch.

it works indeed,
First day I could see Bermuda wilting and getting yellow, this stuff is pretty impressive and very selective. Will update at the end of whole treatment, 1 application of 3 to go so far.

It Definitely Works, if used as directed.
I bought this product because I had Bermuda grass in my lawn. That stuff is tenacious and deep rooted. When the Bermuda grass is woven into tall fescue and well established it is very difficult to remove by hand, not to mention time consuming. I definitely advise you to read the instructions carefully. The instructions are written for a more technical user, not your typical homeowner. There are technical reasons why the instructions are written the way they are. At first I puzzled over how much concentrate to mix of 1 gallon of water for my hand held pump sprayer. I use ¾ of an ounce of concentrate per gallon of water. [Note, this product is highly concentrated.] Over the past several years I have applied quite a few gallons of this product at that ratio and found it to be effective. As you walk around spraying it is important to periodically shake up your sprayer because the product forms an emulsion, not a solution. This means that the concentrate does not remain evenly distributed throughout the contents of your sprayer, so you shake it to keep it evenly mixed. Keep an eye on the weather forecast. If it is expected to rain soon after the product is applied you should probably wait till another day. By holding the sprayer wand close to the ground you reduce the amount of product which is sprayed off target. Don’t hyper pressurize your sprayer as this will increase the amount of product which lands off target. It is also useful to mix in a marking dye. This lets you know what you’ve sprayed and what you haven’t sprayed. The dye is also useful when you apply your second round of product a few days later. The dye will fade with time and endurance depends on the concentration used.As indicated in the instructions, one round of spraying is insufficient to kill off your target. In my experience, two or three rounds usually did the trick. You can tell if the first round is effective because the target should in a few days time display some amount of browning and withering. I have found Turflon Ester to be effective against quite a few other problems species. In particular, it is effective against plants which spread by rhizomes, which are underground tendrils, a class of plant which is very difficult to control by hand.I have not had any problem with this product adversely effecting my tall fescue. While this product is expensive one can make approximately 22 gallons a solution with a 16 oz bottle of concentrate. This product is most cost effective when applied on a spot basis to problem areas. This product cannot and should not be applied with a hose end sprayer.
