Simply Beautiful Beads

Beautiful, traditional crystal and seed bead projects with a lot of class. I really enjoy the necklaces in particular...they make wonderful gifts and are great for practicing basic stitches if you want very much *not* basic results. While each of these pieces can be made by an attentive beginner, I would recommend these to intermediate beaders with some prior understanding of the techniques. Solid pictures and diagrammes, good beading supply lists, and thoughtful tips.

Beautiful designs and many of them are easily modifiable to also create matching earrings or bracelets. What I love most is being able to create jewelry that goes well with my period or Boho clothing.

Find this book done for more experienced beavers- the instructions are limited on the project

Wonderful book with terrific instructions and beautiful pictures.

This book is unusable and unreadable in the Kindle format. Sentences aren't complete or fully formed, making it impossible to understand. On top of that, the instruction pictures are absolutely useless. If I could return this I would. Buyer beware!

Beautifully done! I don't believe these are beginner projects, you should have some bead stitching knowledge.

Very nice, but basic

What a waste of money!Thankfully I only paid £5 for the digital version and not £16 for a book format. If I had bought the book, it would have gone straight back to Amazon.There are 19 projects, most of which are frightfully dull, so it lacks any substance that would make it a worthwhile purchase.The projects are NOT for a beginner as there are no explanations as to how to get from a pile of beads to " a 3 bead ladder 10 stacks wide..." for example. You will need to know a lot of beading basics should you actually want to try and make any of the "simply beautiful.." beaded items. If I could give this no stars, I would have. Don't waste your money - there are loads of MUCH better books out there.

I like this book very much and am pleased I bought it. It contains many patterns only previously available as kits or patterns direct from the designer. It is nice to have them available altogether. My only criticism is the rather thin soft cover of the book. I could have been made a bit studier I feel but apart from that no problems.
