GodHand Nipper PN-125 GH-PN-125 for Plastic Models

My go-to over the years. Insanely reliable. Not the absolute best with cutting the cleanest, but they still cut clean enough to where sanding is minimal. For the price they're just so good and dependable. Highly highly recommend for beginners and people who are okay with sanding just a little bit like me.

I recently got into Warhammer miniatures and wanted a good pair of clippers to remove the model pieces from their sprues. I've seen what a bad pair of clippers can do, so I wanted to avoid blemishing admittedly expensive Warhammer minis. People at various hobby stores often mentioned GodHand as a top brand. The PN-125 is one of the more affordable offerings by GodHand, but the PN-125 is still more comfortable to hold, easier to use, and sharper than three other clippers I have used. They easily cut through plastic model kit sprues, and I would recommend these as an affordable option for anyone getting into Warhammer or other miniatures games.

When I first began building model kits, I had just bought a cheap bundle off Amazon to suit my needs. It worked well for what it was, and I had no complaints. However, after a year or so of being into the hobby full-time, I figured it was time for an upgrade. I heard excellent things about Godhand as a company, especially regarding their single-edge nippers, so I figured this would also improve my nub cleaning at a more reasonable price. And I was not disappointed. Out of the box, these cut through sprues like a hot knife through butter. They, like all double-edged nippers (to my knowledge) still do kind of pinch instead of just cut, meaning you will have to avoid cutting too close to your parts, but they were sharp enough that I could just leave a super tiny, easily removed nub instead of wasting time with metal files and hobby knives, while still being durable enough to cut through sprue frames and transparent plastic without worry. I hope that one day I'll earn enough disposable income to get myself a proper pair of Godhands single edge nippers, but until then this will still do nicely.

Incredible clippers. Ive been modeling and using tons of clippers for over 20 years and these are by far and away the best I have ever used. So incredibly easy to use, nice to hold and they provide an incredible snip/clip/nip whatever you want to call it. Very sharp and awesome.

We have been using these nippers for over two years now to clean 3D prints. The handles are still staying on, the blades are still sharp, and the spring is still going strong! No other nipper we've tried can say the same thing. These are rather expensive, but they are worth the extra cost. The thin nature of the blades also enables them to reach further than comparable nippers and have cleaner cuts. Highly recommend for 3D print cleaning! Update: After 2.5 years, the nippers broke, the spring mechanism failing on them around the same time. Still outperformed other nippers, but 2.5 years seems like the lifespan for these nippers.

It cuts plastic so easy!

I just received these and trimmed up a parts sprue right away, with some parts being pretty tight to the tree. They cut easy and trim very close to the part. Enough so, it wouldn't be worth an additional $40 to me, to get the single cutting edge set in the same brand. I was concerned about that, the more I read about single edge cutting after ordering these. But no problem, much better than toenail clippers etc. IMO And these appear very well made for the money spent. I have a bum right thumb and the grip shape is comfortable for that thumb, which is something extra I didn't anticipate on. Easy handling too, you can get right to the spot you want to cut. Yet stout enough for main tree snipping.

Excellent pair of nippers for basic needs, highly recommend. Good quality and not overly expensive.

Was hesitant to get this but many people said to get this brand for a nipper. This might be one of the cheapest for the brand, but works very well. Now I feel like I want to build more.
