Great gag gift!
I gave this to my brother as a gag gift on his birthday and everyone loved it! We all took turns messing around with the pen. You can tell that it’s a bit flimsy and probably will die soon but we definitely had a good time with it and I would buy again!

Came new in package, but, did NOT work! So, no fun at all, just disappointed, angry, horrible value for the money. I guess I can't blame who sent it to me because it came in original packaging, I guess it was just so old that the battery went dead.

Both my boys had ar eally good time with these
Both my boys had ar eally good time with these; they even took them to church and pranked all the parishoners! I wish the battery or shocking mechanism had worked longer, but I think that had more to do with the fact the boys stop using them until they quit working. Also fun was the fact that the pen part actually wrote-that made it even more fun!

Read the reviews before you buy! Do NOT buy this junk!
I unfortunately didn't read the reviews before I bought it! Stupid I know. This thing sucks! It barely gives a shock at all. More like a barely noticeable tingle if it works at all. And more than half the time it doesn't even trigger. And that's because I had to open with it and fiddle with the insides. Before that it didn't work at all. Gave it to someone once I got it open and when they pushed the button down it just slid the casing off. No shock!Spend the extra couple dollars on something that actually works. This thing is not worth your time trust me. I feel like I was ripped off.Edit: Guess what? The seller doesn't allow returns! They know it sucks!

"Shocking" product :)
Inexpensive but works surprisingly well! I have had a lot of fun "loaning" it to people to use... :-)I do wish it had a standard replaceable battery, but for the price, can't complain to much.I would rate it's strength as just about right, definitely enough to give a jolt, without worrying too much about giving it to someone with an unknown medical condition...

good for a 1 or 2 day gag
the pen ws a cheap plastic, dont worry it does shock,when i recivied mine it had a crack on it, but its very cheap,so axpect nothing then what u are paying for

Surprisingly decent product for the $$$$
After seeing the American Chopper 's prank episode where they tricked Paul Sr. with a shocking pen I hoped on Amazon.com and found this item. Was slightly hesitant due to the mixed feed back and the price being so cheep. But because the price was so low I went ahead. Arrived in packaging similar to what you find hanging on a shelf at Spencers. Zero instructions on how to use, there was a warning for people over 50 yrs old to not use it. The weight is less than a normal pen but the shock makes up for it. Mine doesn't click like a normal pen but slight pressure on the "clicker" end and you will know it. GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE $$$
