I planned a laser tag birthday party for my son's 9 year birthday and ordered 3 sets of these guns. I saw good reviews and liked the fact that vests were not needed. They are very good quality, durable and have excellent options with the number of gun modes and amount of lives (6 hits worth depending on the gun setting of the shooter). I went through the set and made sure all were functioning and ended up having one that was not responding to the trigger being pulled and one that had a screw mount missing for the battery cover (not a big deal as the gun still functioned properly). But because I needed all of the guns to be functioning so that everyone attending could play, I emailed the seller and explained that I needed to exchange one, preferably two of the guns and that the party was a week away. The response back was immediately the next day and they solved my problem by one day after. Absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND! I would definitely recommend buying from this seller and purchasing this product. We had a ton of fun at the party with them and even had some evening after party fun too with some of the neighbors.

If you're deciding between a couple brands, this is the one! Great gift for kids and teens! I bought these after trying a couple other brands and LOVE THEM!! They were a gift for my 7 year old, and he plays against his older teenage siblings and younger cousins too! A fun way to play hide and seek in the dark!! It's a perfect activity for family fun night, playdates, birthday parties, or baby-sitting! Can be used indoors and outdoors alike--we even take them camping! We bought 2 sets to play up to 8 people at a time!!PROS: These guns are durable and easy to fire and "reload." They fit comfortably in the hands of an adult or child. We have used them with children as young as 2!! Grandparents, parents, teens, and kids age 7-10 are my most frequent users. SUPER EASY TO OPERATE the off/on buttons, and very intuitive for young and old to shoot and figure out settings. They make cool sound effects when you fire the different types of weapons and when you get hit. The light indicators on the side of the gun show you and your opponents clearly when you are losing lives! No separate chest strap necessary. The gun provides a sensor with a body width range--no exact aim necessary for a hit. Your gun doesn't shoot members of its own team. We just pick team colors and go, although there are some other fun settings to play with.SPECS: They have a range to shoot up to 130 feet (40 m) away, and can even shoot reflective shots off glass and mirrors! They take 4 AA batteries per gun, so stock up!! Can add as many sets as you want for playing in large numbers! One side button allows you to quickly assign teams--you can choose Blue, Red, Green, and White. You can play every man for himself up to 4 people with this set. Or add an unlimited number additional sets and use the settings to assign your color, with your choice of 2-4 teams. Press trigger to fire, and reload easily by tapping the bottom of the gun. Another button on the side of the gun allows you to quickly change bullet styles. If you choose "Pistol"--12 bullets are available before reloading is necessary, one target is shot, 1 life is lost if you hit the opponent. "Shotgun"--6 bullets are available before reloading is necessary, one target is shot, 2 lives are lost if you hit the opponent. "Machine Gun"--6 bullets are available before reloading is necessary, one target is shot, 2 lives are lost if you hit the opponent. "Missiles"--1 bullet is available before reloading is necessary, one target is shot, 3 lives are lost if you hit the opponent.OTHER COMPETITORS' VERSIONS: I bought the Laser X Blaster Gaming Set 2 pack before trying this set. Besides, the Laser X brand being $30 more for 4 guns, the Laser X brand also has a consistent beeping sound about every 3 seconds that prevents you from hiding or sneaking up on anyone. Eventually the consistent noise can get annoying. A lot of other brands have a chest piece that you strap around your body that usually have a cord connecting it to the gun. That cord can get awkward at times, and the chest piece is easy for "cheaters" to cover and hide to prevent getting shot. The Laser X brand is also extremely difficult to "reload"--for adults and children alike. Overall it got a little frustrating to use, and limited us to just 2 teams or a free for all--every man for himself setting.FYI: The prices used to be $50, but went up to $55 then $59 and now are $72 in just a few weeks. Not as great a deal any more. I had to remove "best value." LOL! Shop around.

I purchased this set for my grandson’s 6th birthday. He loved it, however 1 of the guns didn’t work. I immediately sent a message to customer service, telling them about the defective gun. I heard back from customer service by the next morning, and 2 days after the birthday, we received a new set of guns. Best Customer Service Ever! Oh, and the laser guns are awesome. My grandson loves them!

We got these for my 9 year old. All the neighborhood kids have been here constantly to play with them. I haven't experimented much with accuracy and I suspect you don't have to be aiming directly at another gun to hit it, but from age 5 to 11, none of the kids care. They just play over and over again. Close up, far apart, inside, outside, they don't care; they just want to play!You can set the guns to teams, so you can easily play teams or every man for himself, and change every game.There is a need to reload, and different types of "weapons" with different effects, identifiable by the sounds they make.

My neighbor bought another type of laser set for his children and had problems with two of the units. So I went with this particular set because of the high positive reviews. As well, the laser reach is quite far. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew so I put the batteries in and turned them on to test the features just in case. They all tested fine. They look great. I did have a question and contacted the seller. Scott got back to me, answered my question, and assured me 100% that customer satisfaction is also a feature of their business, not just the product. I am pleased to give 5 stars for the laser set and also for the business. I have played laser tag before and enjoyed it immensely (and I am in the senior citizen set). So, I know my nephew will enjoy these with his friends.

These are do much fun!!!I love that it's a pack of 4, this way we all get to play together as a family and its hilariousKids love, we love that it doesn't actually shoot anything and it's a fun, safe, yet "physical" activity that my boy and girl enjoy the same

I ordered a set and one of the guns did not work. I contacted the Seller and he immediately sent me ANOTHER FULL SET! They are fun for all. I first tried them with a 4 and 6 year old and they are a bit young to grasp the laser tag game itself, but enjoyed shooting the guns and running around. I think as they get a little older the competitive game will work better.

Originally we loved these but one stopped working after the 4th time using them. Very disappointing. I wanted to buy another set but I definitely won’t now.
