I had high hopes, but you need to negotiate the web, not immediately accessible, and figuring out how they planned this all to work--that should be their task, not the student'swould not recommend this to anyone, and it is too bad because they went to considerable lengths to devise this course; maybe it works in the classroom; I will stick to the classics and surf the web whenever I want to see modern videos of Iran

This book takes way too long to teach the alphabet and get to teaching grammar. I was taught this book before going to a summer program in which all of the students who had been taught from this book were far behind those who were taught Persian in Use. It takes 2 years to learn what Persian in Use teaches in 1 using this text and its second volume.

I need a basic book to begin learning simple communication words and this book meets that need in an excellent manner.

Excellent presentation and on line resources but lacking content for reference, I needed a persian grammar book alongside it.
