I was experiencing knee pain after karate sessions and was worried about damage. The brace felt very strange when I put it on but I actually found I forget about it mostly when doing things. It stays in place (no slipping) and gives good support. I do not feel the same pain after sessions with it on. It is a little hot and my leg sweats under it but that is to be expected with a brace like this. I waited about three months before posting a review because I wanted to see if the Velcro started to pull the fabric apart. So far it doesn't show any wear there. I'm happy with it and would recommend it based on my experience.

Everything was good with the knee support, the ordering the delivery was all very good. The bad part was that the brace was very inadequate for the challenge this patient has. She suffered a stroke and has a severe genu recurvatum. The brace is well made and engineered but inadequate for this woman's problem. If Vive could suggest a brace that is made specifically for a severe genu recurvatum I would be very appreciative. The problem Is that I am helping her without remuneration due to her insurance running out. That is why I picked the least expensive brace with the outside chance that it would work. My positive attitude did not come through. So I am working on the next step in trying to help this wonderful young woman who suffered and brain hemorrhage resulting in a right hemiparesis. She also goes to dialysis three times a week.

This knee brace has been a life saver thus far. It fits great, is really comfortable, and does the job. My knee is much more stable with this brace on and I have a fuller range of motion. That being said, I'm not sure how long this brace is going to last. The edges of the Velcro are already rolling up and I've only had the brace for a week. Based on the many other positive reviews, I wonder if the brace I received was a lemon. Overall, great functionality and comfort but questionable quality.

I am short (5'2") and was a little overweight at the time I purchased this brace and it was difficult to velcro it together. Unless your legs are on the slender side, be careful to measure carefully and compare to the specs for this product. It references the circumference around the knee, but if you have thicker thighs and/or bigger calves, know that is may not fit well. Otherwise, I would say this is a quality product for a very good price.

I bought these for my husband who is over 50 and works a very physical job. He was in tons of pain every night when he got home from work - even thinking he had to pull the trigger on a knee replacement. I talked him into wearing these on both knees everyday and the first day his pain level was lessoned - swelling went down - no icing needed. He has been now wearing these two full weeks and he loves them. His pain level has reduced about 80%. They fit easily under his work pants, are comfortable, and wash well. I bought him another set as a backup also and probably will buy a 3rd pair. Since he has only been using these a couple of weeks I cannot comment on how long these will hold up to everyday use with multiple washings - hopefully they will last at least a couple of months.

Unless you have a smaller sized knee, don't bother wasting your money purchasing this item. It is extremely undersized and will not 'fit most people' as it is advertised! Plus with the three strap set up it is actually harder to get it secured easily. It didn't come close to fitting around my knee and I thought it wasn't easy to get and stayed secured to my leg. If it was made a little bit longer and naturally the straps needed to be longer, then maybe it would fit 'most knee sizes' as it is advertised. I returned it and lost $5.00 off the original price and that didn't make me happy. If the price is cheaper it's probably best not to buy it is my recommendation.

i like that this brace is longer and covers more knee/leg area compared to other braces on the market. the velcro fasteners work well to keep the brace in place. i hardly ever have to retighten the brace even during intense activities. i wish i wasn't allergic to the neoprene material, but i bypass that by wearing a cotton wrap over the skin where the brace comes into contact with. the brace is also reasonably priced. i have purchased this brace, and the other one that VIVE sells (closed brace, pull-up) and both work well for my needs

They are indeed heat retentive. So much so they burned my sensitive skin after 15 minutes. I do have skin issues anyway, so can't totally fault the product, but just a heads up for others that they get hotter than a heating pad on me. I will keep them and try again hen the weather cools. They are supportive but very tight on my curvy thighs
