Great Tracking Harness
We purchased this harness to fit our BMCs. We track deer and game, so we needed something that the dogs could move in freely, but would still protect them from stobs and still be highly visible. The dogs know when this harness comes out that we are going to track a deer. They lose their ever-loving mind when they see the harness, so it is the last thing we bring out - haha. What I like: This is high quality, fits well, and is durable. We have dogs that range in size from 65 lbs to 90 lbs - this is easy to adjust. There are Velcro panels for reflectors, patches, etc. There are a lot of different ways to buckle/unbuckle the harness if you get in a bind. There is a handle on top that is very sturdy - I have had to pull a 72 lb. dog out of a tall creek bed by the handle. There are links on the top and front for your leash. The orange is highly visible on this harness too! What I dislike: Very little. Getting it on and off can be a trick. The harness is essentially two pieces - the chest and back panel. I like to use the disconnect at the flank to get them off because it keeps the two pieces together. You can separate them from the side or the front. It's versatile, but sometimes too versatile - haha.Overall, we bought another harness so we can track with two dogs. I highly recommend it for just about any working dog. Whether you're tracking or just need a solid harness, this is the one you want.

This harness stays buckled!
The Ice Fang harness is by far, the best harness we have tried for our 7 year-old lab. As quiet and calm, mostly, as he is at home, he is like Mr Hyde on walks. He pulls like crazy and wants to meet and greet every animal and human in the neighborhood-including alligators-twice! This harness has held up to this 65 lbs of muscle amazingly well. We have never had to tighten the buckles on it. Our 2 previous harnesses were a disaster and frequently came unfastened during a walk, even though they were "tactical" harnesses. Angus and I would highly recommend the Ice Fang.

I wish she loved it as much as we did :(
We got the Large for our elderly 56-lb pit bull. It looked cool, but probably the best part is the handle on the back. She has arthritis so sometimes she sways, wobbles, and just loses her balance so the handle made it easier to hold her up and keep her steady. It was also so helpful when getting her in and out of the car because we need to lift her. I highly recommend for that reason. However, one star was deducted because it is not easy to put in, and because she was so uncomfortable in it.Ideally, we'd keep a comfortable, lightweight harness on her most of the time just for convenience (we wake her up every 4-5 hours to potty since she doesn't quite know how to ask) but it wasn't an option with this one. We would especially have loved to keep this one on her because it's not exactly quick and easy to put on. It's sturdy, yes, but also very firm with not very much give. She actually couldn't handle this harness on a car ride; since she has bad legs she NEEDS to sit/lie down frequently, but the harness had her standing in pain for an entire ride, because the harness was so uncomfortable to lie down in. I had to pull over and take it off so she could rest. I get that it's "tactical" and not exactly meant for comfort - but I do wish there was more give or had a softer material to line it. Additionally, and this might just be the way she's built, the back of it lifted so high up. It fit really well in the front, but for some reason, it lifted. See the photo of her next to a tree with my review.Despite it not working with my dog, I would still recommend it for service dogs, dogs that frequent the park, or dogs that go with their humans on adventures of all kinds as it will definitely hold up to the task at hand. The velcro gives you a canvas to put any kind of patches you want so you can make it look cool and custom! Really wish we could've done that.

Very cool harness!
This is very sturdy, and very cool looking, harness! I really love the easy release clips on the front straps, but my wimpy fingers sometimes struggle with the plastic clips around the chest! Haha! The front and back leash clips, are convenient, as is the handle on the back, since I have another dog with an orange version of this harness; and that particular dog is young, excitable, and a puller! So, I utilize both the front clip and the handle on that one! I also really like being able to attach patches, utility packs, etc to the harness, as needed. All in all this is a great harness, especially for the price! In the attached photos, I haven't cut the excess strap off the harness yet, just breaking it in currently!

Works for what we needed.
Ordered the medium and it fits well with some adjustment of the straps. Dog doesn’t mind it. It’s easy to put on and take off (for us, not her). She’s able to run freely in it and seems to be very visible with it. We live on a large open property with lots of hunting camps nearby, so visibility was the goal. We also take lots of trips throughout our woods where she roams freely. We are happy with this purchase.

Wow! Is this a nice vest for our dog.
Our dog absolutly loves this vest. She is so proud to wear it. We have a chocolate lab that weighs around 105 and we bought a xl for her. After making all the adjustments for fitting, it is really a beautiful vest that is really well made. When I take it out of the closet, she is just dancing all around me and cannot weight to get this on to go outside and "find it".

Not for long walks
The harness looks amazing, especially with the Velcro patches you can buy. But… after a few long walks (2hr+), I noticed my dog was trying to scratch under his front armpits. When I looked, his fur had been rubbed off and his skin was raw and weeping. This is due to the buckle clip catching on his under arm while he runs and moves his front legs backwards. This is a design fault- the straps need to be further back so his front legs can move freely without rubbing. This is so disappointing as the harness does look so cool on him. If you are into short lead walks, then this might work ok but please keep checking under your dogs front legs for any abrasion.

Buckles are too heavy!!
First of all I want to make it clear that I returned this harness. It is really well made and good quality but, in my opinion, has a serious design flaw. The buckles are way too heavy. I'd say of the total weight of the harness the buckles made up close to 50% of it. I tried it on my dog and it was a little too big but that helped me to visualise where the weight of the buckles would be transferred. If you want your dog to work harder on their walks I would recommend this harness, otherwise I would not!!!

Dog loves it
Dog appears to find it comfortable actually stands still to get his "coat" on. Bit fiddly to adjust and needs regular tightening as he's a puller but so far so good.

Wrong colour, poor quality and amazon listing no longer reflects what I ordered.
Ordered Icefang no - pull harness in medium and in ranger green. Order arrived within specified time frame. Order wrong colour, expecting green, received black. Item picture had two metal bars bracteting the strap on the no - pull D-ring, preventing rotation. Received a harness that had no second bar this allowing full rotation. No braning on any of the straps. Had the Harness under 2 weeks ans the harness is fraying and stiches are pulling. Applied for return.

Not all clasps/buckles are metal
Really disappointed that I searched for a strong harness with metal clasps/buckles and the from two are but the side ones aren’t. I find plastic ones wear out a lot faster from the constant use and would have been prepared to pay the extra for a better quality item. The material seems strong and the front buckles are fine, but the side ones don’t always opened as they should because they are plastic so when you push in the sides they are more inclined to get stuck.
