Great training aid.
Excellent training aid if you use it correctly. Like some of the reviews said you can go on YouTube and find the instructions. Well worth the minimal investment you’re making compared to a lot more expensive training aids out there.

Works well with a slight modification.
Works great and half price of brand name equivalent. No issue with screws, stays on fine. If anything, it stays on too well and hard to remove. Do yourself a favor and glue some insulation foam to the wrist piece for comfort.

Super simple. Great aide to get the feeling of wrist hinge.
First to address all the negative reviews — go to YouTube people! Yes it’s a knock-off Swingyde and it doesn’t come with instructions or a CD, but you get 2 for $7... Yes it’s plastic and it uses a very simple, but effective screw and wingnut to tension the clamp end. You don’t even really need the screw at all if you have it adjusted properly on your grip. Basically you remove the screw and slip open the lips of the guide down at the skinny end of the shaft near the head of the club and slide it up the shaft to the grip. For most people you want the clamp either touching your lower hand index finger for about 90 degrees of lag or a little lower if you want more. The other adjustment is rotation and most videos that I have seen show the guide being lined up with the leading edge of the club and this is close for me, but it’s gonna vary based on your swing plane. For practice swings I can make it contact my forearm, but with my real swing I cup my left wrist a bit and it strikes the inside of my forearm. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I would take a couple of slow-motion swings with one club to get the feeling and then grab another club and hit a few. I hit a few with the fixture in place just to see what I thought. It’s completely doable and I was able to see that you do in fact get similar contact with the guide after impact. I didn’t really like that as it seemed weird at such a fast part of your swing. For me the gains were from taking a few good takeaways with that really exaggerated wrist set.

Finding it hard to use
The training aid did not come with any instructions or pictures (neither on paper or a web site address for on line). I find it hard to use. It is also very difficult to put on or take off the club.

Lousy design. Don’t waste your time.
Cheap, but the plastic sticks don’t easily fit on your golf clubs. If you want something you can slip on the club and then quickly take off, DON’T buy these things!

Great Golf Training Aid.
I use this product in my teaching and it really gives the student a great cell foe getting the swing on plane in the backswing.

Almost impossible to install
The design is fine but the plastic is so firm and hard I had to hold it over a flame to soften the gripping jaws wide enough to install over the grip of a club.

Good wrist hinge trainer
Simple to setup and helps train you to hinge the wrist properly on the backswing.
