I RARELY write reviews. And if I do, it's because the product is an absolute piece of junk. These are well made, they look great and are very sturdy. I can't believe all the complaining about them not being assembled. REALLY???? Anyone who would buy these are a do-it-yourselfer to some degree otherwise they'd pay to have grilles put on so STOP complaining. This company doesn't deserve bad reviews and no I don't work for them; it's just nice to finally get something that impresses especially with all the cheap China crap Amazon is allowing on their website.They take MAYBE five minutes to put together and couldn't be simpler (that means no instructions are needed). Just make sure you don't muscle them when tightening. These aren't hardened steel parts; they WILL strip if over tightened. These are the only metal grills that are worth buying on Amazon. The "standard" screen types, if the screen is too small, won't allow the thunderous sound pressure of the sub to come through without restriction. Buzzing will most likely occur. The larger screens with the square holes and the rubber ring will also buzz, plus they look cheap. They're the same grilles you see on any POS subs you find at a swap meet. There are cool looking plastic grills, but they WILL brake with any moderate impact.I've got a full sized K5 Blazer and these bad boys make the speaker look just as cool and rugged as the truck they're in.Highly recommended!

AWESOME appearance and durability, (except) 3 improvemts. 1-come pre assembled, and 2- better guality screws and threaded holes.( one size up wouuld probably be sufficent). 3- lower height 1/2 inch. other than that THEIR GREAT, use them for my kickers as i do not prefer the kicker style grills. Use mine directly behind seat in my pickup. WEll WORTH THE $10 price and $5 shipping. love kicker but theese are less and nicer looking, for my use anyways. DEFINATELY RECOMEND

I don't have anything bad to say about this grill. It fits over my sub (I ordered another "universal" grill that did not fit), and it provides the protection I was looking for. I didn't want bulky items rolling around in my trunk crashing through my woofer, and this thing will stop that from happening. It looks as advertised, is very sturdy, required some assembly (took 5 minutes, very simple), and came with all neccesary hardware. Directions were not present, but I don't feel like they were needed. It's pretty simple.The only negative thing I have to say about this grill is that it I had to assemble it, but the inconvienence that caused was extremly minor.I reccommend this product to everyone.

It looks great and is strong which is the reason I bought it. It fits around my subs well even with a large cosmetic ring on them. They are a bit tricky to assemble just because things like to move around and it can be possible to make it skewed. Of the two I ordered one of the bars had stripped threads on both ends and couldn't be attached unfortunately. For their simplicity to manufacture and seemingly low quality control I can't really justify its price though. But because its the only one that really has the look I want I would consider buying them again.

These grill covers work great on my 2 mtx 12" subs, great protection and very sturdy design. Extremely easy to set up and delivered in like 5 days. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good new look and a little extra defense from luggage.

I ordered 2 of these for my sub to get the most protection considering I haul tools in my truck. I love these grills! They were VERY easy to assemble and once they are all together they are very durable. The only con that I have about them is the fact that the bars are so far apart, but it looks really nice. Would buy again!9/11/15 UpdateIt's almost been a month that I've had these grills on my sub box and they are GREAT! I have them over a DD Audio 12" sub that has a large excursion and they don't even come close to touching the bars. Like I said before, I purchased 2 of these grills to protect my sub from the daily abuse that I have my jeep through with tools and equipment. I've thrown my 60-80lbs. tool bag on top of the grills with no problem. I don't do this regularly, but sometimes it happens because jeep tj's are just not that roomy.As for people complaining that assembly is required, I don't see the issue. 2min and a screwdriver will get one of the grill together with no issue. I'm thinking that 4min in time to protect a $350 sub is a good ROI (return on investment). I purchased the black grills and also would like to not that the paint or treatment on the grills have not rubbed or scratched off with what they are going through.

Great speaker grille for any 12" sub with long excursion. Works perfectly with my Sundown SA-12 on 1480 watts RMS. Only issue is the mounting hardware - the screws are absolutely worthless. One of the heads ripped off before it even got tight. None of the screws hold well in MDF either, so I'd recommend buying 4 size 10-32 wood screws, 1.5" long. It's about $1 from any home improvement store. Also make sure to pre-drill your holes! Otherwise the MDF/plywood front baffle will split or crack. Otherwise, it does not rattle or shift around. If you need to protect your sub from rogue trunk objects determined to rip your surround or cut up your cone, this is the grille for you! You also get to see the logo on the sub while it's moving, which is an added bonus. A must for any serious sub setup!

The grill was easy to assemble. It works well to protect the Subwoofer behind the seat of my work truck. Used loctite blue on the threads of the screws to prevent them from loosening.

Delivered without issue. Used to protect a pair of 12" subwoofers. Easy to fasten to my existing subwoofer enclosure. No issues at all.Cheers!

It was a little awkward to assemble, the screws didn't immediately fit into the bars because the coating comes over the holes a bit, so I had to pilot them in first before fully assembling without any issues.This fits my JBL Stadium 12" with the cover ring, but just barely, so if you're putting it on a sub with mounting that's slightly over standard size, it won't fit, but standard mounting (which I guarantee yours will be) it's snug and fits nicely.

Pretty easy to put together and install. Seems strong and will hold some weight against the speaker. Not sure what else to mention except it looks like something Hannibal Lecter should be wearing, lol.

Decent quality but not welded, difficult to get them perfectly lined up. Price is too high if not on sale for what they are
