Why isn't this working with my macbook pro (13-inch, 2016, two thunderbolt 3 ports)?

I found that this does not work with my macbook pro. I can not explain why, but it shuts off my wifi when I use it. Other reviews say the same thing. I have worked in computer networking for many years so this isn't a user fault. Return the item and get something better quality

Aa far as I know type c and usb don't work with Samsung unless your phone has screen cast and its Samsung to Samsung tv
