Effective System and Great Customer Service
-Very effective filtration system - unpleasant odor and taste from tap all gone after installing and turning on!-Large 100K gal capacity - sufficient for once a year filter change.-Installation is straight forward, make sure to use good tape (Blue Monster tape https://a.co/d/2Au2Jf8) and good sealant (Blue Monster sealant https://a.co/d/c77PLFv) to prevent leak at the inlet and outlet.I ran into an issue with the black head unit, where a slow leak developed in between the flow lines of filter caps (you can see the water droplet in the picture). Upon contacting customer service, ISPRING rushed a new unit to me. Big shoutout to JULIUS for his quick response and generous support, much appreciated!

Great Value
Bought a home with some stinky water. Overall water quality isn't too bad, minerals are within normal limits (borderline manganese) and only slight hardness. Overall wasn't too concerned about our well water quality but the smell was an issue and knew that my family wouldn't tolerate it for long. Found this solution on a different website but wanted to check amazon. I chose amazon as the price was the same as the home store but I could make 5 payments and receive faster. To my surprise and delight the item I received also included the braided lines with ball valves that the other place was going to charge an extra $70 for...bonus! The head unit also came assembled which was nice and I have not had any leaks with it to this point (approximately 1 month). Installed myself with a second hand for support. Used shark bite fittings and pex to complete the install. I used blue monster tape for the threaded fittings and that worked really well with no leaks (10 wraps). Some factors to consider: 1. this unit does not have a pressure relief valve and I have not had to change a filter yet but understand that you can release pressure at a faucet if the system is closed off. 2. the fittings are not tapered and the potential to over-tighten the plastic housing is a risk, be gentle. Otherwise, this unit has performed excellent and I am hopeful that the filters will last 6+months. We no longer have stinky water and can shower and use the sink with ease. No issues with pressure drop and even today we had all but forgotten the stinky water. Thank you! Great value and saved me a 1k+ professionally installed unit. I would recommend.

System effectivelyt removes rust, sediment, and chemicals from city water
Product arrived as with no issues. My contractor/plumber professionally installed this unit, tapping into my copper main line with brass fittings and blue PLEX piping. He installed a shut-off valve on both sides of the filter for easy issue resolution and maintenance. What I'm trying to say here is, it was professionally done by two plumbers. Once installed and turned on, there was a very tiny trickle on the right canister. We shut of the valves to unscrew the canister and check the rings/threads. The pressure valve was not working according to specifications. The plumber surmised that the water lines were installed backwards. The in-out lines were installed exactly according to the manual install instruction's diagram, but upon further investigation, we found an "IN" marked on the opposite side of the filter setup, so we had to reverse them. This is a pretty significant mistake on iSpring's part, because even if we had caught it prior to installation, was the misprint on the filter or the instruction manual? Okay so this cost me another $100 for additional install time, things happen.UPDATE 6 months later: Just so there is no confusion, this is not a reverse osmosis system, but a system that can be used as a pre-osmosis system. This distinction somehow confused me in my first review, which I am now correcting. Over the past 6 months, I noticed that the chemical smells, and eye stinging from the city water no longer existed. Also, I needed to clean the heavy sediment from the screens on my sink faucets, and shower heads about every 3 or 4 months. In the past 6 months, they are still clog free. This is quantifiable and physical proof that the iSpring is doing it's job.Today, I cracked open the system and replaced both cartridges; 1 charcoal, and 1 sediment. It's hard to physically determine if the carbon filter is at "end of life" by cutting it open and looking at it. The outer white wrapping was slightly yellow, but the charcoal core was perfectly in-tact, with no smells or gunk attached. The sediment filter was iron stained and had white sediment debris, which also collected at the bottom of the blue filter housing. All of this was extracted from city water. This fall, I will empty my electric water heater tank to determine how much sediment, if any, passed through the filters and collected in the tank.I would definitely purchase and install this system again

Immediate results and great customer service
Easy to install and immediately had water with better smell, clarity, and taste. Had a very tiny leak, maybe due to installer error, but Nick at iSpring was really helpful in getting me a new head/manifold super quick. Highly recommend!

Clean Healthy Water
We always try to put our health first. I thought we had clean city water but I am shocked at each filter change with just how much sediment and contaminants are caught and just how effective whole house filtration can be.After quite a bit of research, I chose this Ispring two-stage system but after seeing the aftermath, would have probably even opted for the three-stage. This was the most cost effective solution I could find to fit our needs. We have used this for a little over four years now and it has never disappointed. With annual filter changes, our water is crystal clear, odorless and there’s no dry skin after bathing. After all, what’s your health worth?Although professional installation is almost always recommended, I am a DIYer and it was incredibly easy to install. A couple of fittings and two shark bites made it literally a no-sweat job. I couldn’t recommend this enough as I know, my kids now have clean water to bathe in, cook with and drink. Next, we will be installing one made specifically for campers in our RV.I am a genuine verified customer, a true believer, and always live by the mantra, that when you find something good, you should pass it along.
